I worked NL7V on 20m while I was activating earlier in the week and I had a similar thought - I grabbed my phone and got him on video saying his call and "73 from Alaska " too! Great video.

Maybe. It would have helped the condensation from wetting the bag. I used a wool blanket up around the neck and shoulders to trap in the heat.

Awesome video dude. Question the wire antenna you setup would you consider that a NVIS? Dust. Seem that high off the ground? 73’s W6MDE

Thanks Matt!. Yes. Pretty much NVIS being that low but sloped up to 15-20ft. It worked pretty well. Shows just getting a wire in the air will suffice. Lol 😆🤣
