I am so grateful that my best friend and i were introduced to riot grrrl by our counselor at summer camp. Changed my whole life. This music saved me as a 13yo girl and it’s currently doing it again all these years later. I’m seeing bikini kill for the first time next week and I can’t fucking wait.

Your video is way more awesome than mine (times a million!). In 2006-2008 I painted every person in the song (gotta remember our feminist heroes!), and I just wanted to put the paintings I made to the music, to kind of see them in their proper form for once. It's made by Wynne Greenwood, who was Le Tigre's J.D. Samson's girlfriend. She had her own electroclash/D.I.Y. music project, called Tracy + The Plastics. She released two albums and one E.P. Go and check it out if you haven't already. She was brilliant. (She also made video's to go with her live performances, in which she played two characters / band mates with who she would discuss from the podium / on screen.)
