I have the original Winter Soldier which is still in excellent condition, shame this version doesn't come with his Captain America suit, can't blame Hot Toys for that, that's on Feige!

It’s a double bend on the articulated arm. You can see in the photo where the arm’s raised to his face, that there’s a gap between the elbow and the upper arm when it’s at full bend that’s separate from the fully visible lower joint.

Other than caps shield, whats the difference between the collector and special edition? If the only difference is the shield then why would there be a higher quantity for the version with the bonus accessory. Wouldn't the other way round make it more rare/desirable

I love how Hot Toys is slowly remaking characters from the best of the MCU movies. I can not wait for the artisan CAWS Black Widow, hopefully I can get the chance to preorder it.

Bucky/Winter soldier is my favorite MCU character, so to say that this is one of my most anticipated releases is an understatement. Even my wife was happy when they announced this figure because she knows how much i love this character(we have a joint HT collection). So when this dropped this morning i was excited... Until i saw the "artisan" tag AND the Hot Toys "exclusive". I was disappointed and sad. I was waiting years for this to just for them to tell me i will not be able to get this. Before someone asks i live in europe and the exclusives are almost impossible to get unless you pay a huge sum of money and frankly more than i am willing to pay so... No winter soldier for me.

The likeness isn't great, but I'm confident it will improve before it goes into production. And it wasn't just you- that little Scorpion gun on his back fell off all of the time. I hope it's magnetic this time around..

Nah, it's an early prototype. Hot Toys will certainly have enough time to make any tweaks and improvements that might need to be done.

kinda surprised you are impressed by this tbh. This is...uh...pretty bad. Likeness is off, head is too big, that lord farquad hair isnt doin him any favors, the hairline is super long, the body is too small, the legs look pretty bad, the arm is too small, the ball socket joint on the arm into the chest isnt doin it either. The swappable arms and the real leather parts are great...the actual artistic quality of this is really not great. Sure, the fidelity in the face is great, but it aint bucky.
