Hey, this is some Korean guy who just absolutely loves your reviews. I may be Korean but I go to college in the states and I have a small collection already going on, mostly of Star Wars 1 6th scales. But before I go and check out to buy a new figure, I always, ALWAYS, check your review first. Your work has always been really pivotal and helpful to my decision overall. This may be a random rant but I just wanted to say, thank you. Just simply Thank you for all these detailed reviews of all these different figures (mostly 1 6th for me) and helping a small collector out to make decisions. Sure the movie had its flaws...but what movie doesn't. However most people think their preferences count as mistakes for the movie which is stupid. People complain about Lex but no one complains about Zemo being weak and depressed?! People these days...

Great review man, I agree 100% about the improvements on the new one. I have both figures too and I decided to collar mod my Man of Steel for a more accurate look. The Batman V's Superman version was my figure of the year "2016"

The darker blue of the BvS suit is actually inaccurate. Man of Steel had the darkest Superman suit, but that figure is even less accurate. Also, yes, Cavill did bulk up a bit more for BvS hence why this figure is quite thicc.

I collect Superman figures, the more realistic the better, I don't at all like the animated style. But, I also avoid Superman figures, no matter how well made, that don't have the yellow 'S' emblem on the cape. Without it, he's just wearing a red bed sheet, and I have never cared for it.

BVS and JL Hot Toy Superman figure is much better than MOS Hot Toy Superman figure but i am interesting on , Birther and Darker Tone of Superman Design but i rather by Justice League Hot Toy Superman and doesn't need to be look like Henry Cavill .

The figure look amazing, but I wish it came with another head sculpt to recreate his look during the fight between him and Batman, with a dirtier face, wet, more messed up hair, and the cut on his cheek. I really hope they update the Batman Mech Suit figure and give him the kryptonite spear and a broken helmet, sort of how they gave the Force Awakens Rey figure a lightsaber after the movie came out. I'm actually shocked it doesn't come with the spear at least.

Hot Toys DCEU Actions Figures Design is very cool and brilliant but the money is a issue , so i am done with it i recommend Beast Kingdom Superman Action Figures from BVS and JL version . Beast Kingdom and Hot Toys both have mind blow and cooler design on the DC Comics Character , and i glad i got Wonder Woman JL and JL Hot Toys version of Superman but i am done with it after Superman JL Hot Toy version . Even i like both design from BVS and JL Hot Toys of Superman from Actor Henry Cavill .

Giving a like for the action figure itself, but being completely honest, the reviewer seems way... And I really mean way to picky, and to me, most of the stuff being criticised isn't even warranted. I've seeing the other Superman figures reviews and gave a like on those too, but mostly for the action figures, maybe it would be good to not go overboard on the nitpick stuff

This looks good but I would never buy it. I didn't really like this version of superman. I don't have any hot toys but I will be getting one next month. They are expensive but the main reason I didn't buy one was because I just haven't like any of them enough. I considered getting Nick Fury and Black Widow but I'm just not feeling them enough. Maybe that might change. The one I'm getting next month is Rey who is favorite female character. I only hope they do a Ahsoka hot toy. She is my second favorite female character.

I must have watched at least half a dozen reviews of this figure by now and no one, not even the ultra-descriptive Optibotimus, has mentioned the kickstand under the BvS logo on the base. It may seem like a small and insignificant oversight to many but I think it's important. Not only does it keep the BvS logo from tilting backwards but it helps if you are trying a flight pose with Supes having one or both feet on the logo. Again, good review and sorry that I always comment with a criticism.

LOL it's okay. Honestly, i didn't even notice the kick stand you mentioned. Since my space is so limited, most of these stands that come with the figures now, always end up going back into the package and into storage.
