I love how Salacious Crumb is sitting there watching you go over the base. A cleaned up C3po could be the shined up version that we got to see at the award ceremony at the end of the original movie. I'm just waiting on a flood of how-to videos on how to clean off that weathering.

No brother Justin, I completely agree with you! This genuine 1977 Star Wars old head who saw the movie 25 times when I was just in the 4th grade! (Yeah, my Dad who grew up on FLASH Gordon -ancient times to be sure 😂) He was ALSO THAT EXCITED so he and I saw it that many times! And I am sure he would have agreed this figure IS THE BEST!😂 This Return of the Jedi C-3PO is an absolutely AWESOME rendition! The very best I have EVER SEEN in 6 scale, hands down! 🤓🤓🤓👊🏾

A friend of mine has this exact figure. He mixed some graphite powder into chrome paint & air-brushed the lower section of the right leg; no gold tint to the silver, and not as shiny as the main gold body (so it stands out more & looks much more like the Rebel Alliance simply ran out of gold plating). If you find the gold tint really bothering you, it's an option 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Justin, I was disapointed by hand articulation, but 3PO looks great in the collection. Salacious B. Crumb is sat with Jabba in my Palace display! Pleased with his little cushion also being included!

That the wiring on C-3PO's waist is too straight, even though it's accurate to his appearance in ROTJ, is an odd criticism. It's like complaining that the Episode II edition isn't shiny and gold. A Hot Toys figure is supposed to be faithful to the specific version of the character it's recreating, regardless of whether we might prefer a particular detail from another iteration.

Hello Justin. I love Gold!!! Totally Fabulous looking, New Hot Toys C-3PO Figure. The Detailing looked Unbelievably Film Accurate. That's not all. Love the Cool Accessories included, Display Base, and Salacious Crumb Figure as well. You're right Friend. Hot Toys should have called it, Star Wars 2 Pack. The Star Wars Return of the Jedi (1983) Movie, was one of my Favorite Film, as a Younger Adult back then. Great Amazing Video as always! 🤩🤩🤩👍👍

Hey, thanks for your review. It's the first time I've bought a hot toys figure before watching your review. Was worried it would sell out. One thing I was a bit disappointed that I can't seem to get him to stand up independently without the stand/crotch grabber 😮

I cant help but feel like Hot Toys would benefit from selling droids that dont rely on being lit up to look like they turned on. Its a gimick that is just more of a hassle in the long run. I imagine they would save on production/design costs and maybe sell more pieces at slightly lowered costs. I want this piece, it looks great, but i know damn well it's never going to be powered up in the display. My R2 is the same way, and it really detracts from their display strength. I would order today if they offered this exact piece with painted eyes instead.

I completely agree it’s so frustrating. I’m going to try to make my own eye covers for this so it will have a little more life without having to rely on batteries.

The only thing that worries me about buying this one is that I'm wondering if there will eventually be a new hope version? As that's the one most people want. So dent on head, messy belly wires, restraining bolt. Though doesn't feel enough to justify a whole new figure. Though given the different stormtrooper variations it wouldn't surprise me. It also seems they release the least desirable version first (like episode 2 then this) however, if they didn't release ANH version then would feel like a fool for not getting this :D

This is so cool, sad to say I always put off buying star war in 1/6 scale, not knowing where to start or finish the collection, having the main character from episode 4,5,6 would have been great but very hard to find at a decent price now unfortunately. This could be my ticket in, it is worthy of a place regardless 👍🏼. On a separate note, just purchased a hot toys Edward scissorhands, I have now seen art figures and it seems to have a much better likeness. It’s the original but frustrating to have spent so much on it, although I would say the box art is amazing

Loved it but they forgot the restraining bolt after delivering Luke’s message Jabba claim them as his own even though Luke supposedly gave them to him as a gift anyway that’s to bad they forgot about that accessory.
