Great review. The one thing Sideshow definitely did better is the blue color on the armor. It's too dark of a blue on Hot Toys, even on the 501st trooper.

Happy to see you got Rex Jorge!! He’s an awesome figure so happy to have mine, just waiting on Ahsoka to pair them together with Anakin and obi wan and Cody as well! This clone wars display is coming along beautifully!! I hope Hot Toys gives us an Arc Trooper Echo and Fives!! Those are the two clone I want next, or some 212th to go with Cody and Obi Wan

Yea man I would love to own the Kenobi and Anakin to lead my troops. Not sure yet if I am gonna pull the trigger on the Anakin that is still available at Sideshow and I missed out on Kenobi. Plus I think they are gonna release a lot more clones in the future so I am kinda holding on to my money for that. Either way, its a great time to be a Star Wars fan! Congrats on getting Rex.

Hopefully they add Waxer and Boil for the 212th to add to Cody. Same for Fives and Echo for Rex.

I just got this figure and he is my first hot toys ever. Do you have any tips on putting the blasters in the hands?

Congrats! I usually pull the hands off and put the blaster in the hand before I put it back on the body. Makes it easier

Great review. This is a hard one they both look pretty good so i would choose the Sideshow one because of the price.

Nice figure, Jorge. Love the videos and I love Star Wars (of course). Keep them coming. Want to see the Cantina in the Lego lounge one day. I was so sad to see something else was chosen, but it is what it is. Love ya!

The overall proportions are better on the Hot Toys one. Both awesome figures in their own right.

Sideshow based the head sculpt on the animated character and Hot Toys on the actor's likeness.

OK so understand that Slideshow and Hot toys both used different sculpts for the heads and body’s. So a comparison should be moot for the heads at least since on obviously came out over 5 years ago. So I’m other words it makes sense why everything is different.

sadly ht missed some of the weld lines on the helmet, sideshows helmet is better due to that

Great video Jorge!!! The Hot Toys Rex is the way to go. Can't wait to get it in hand. Just got the Death Watch Mando can't wait to unbox and review it. I do have a question. What is your thoughts on the older Sideshow Jedi 1/6 figures? Your thoughts on the Mace? Eyeing one right now on ebay. Again awesome video!

I agree with Darrick. So far other than the Clone Troopers, I haven't been all that impressed with Sideshow figures. The joints are usually loose. I had one that had sticky boots, and the portraits are not as great as Hot Toys. I would only recommend buy Clone Troopers from Sideshow or Stormtroopers. Pretty much anything in a helmet looks ok from Sideshow. Also congrats on the Rex!

The hot toys captain rex is much better than the sideshow verison you can put it in a lot more poses.

I agree. Hot Toys is the clear winner for posing and the portraits. I think Sideshow has the edge on the paint for the armor and accessories. Both are really great figures, but I am a poser lol. That sounds wrong saying it lol. Whats the point of having an action figure if you are just gonna leave them standing straight up and down.
