@@Papa_FM From what I’ve seen of the new suit, I honestly like it more than the Netflix one. There’s more red, and the red used is brighter. While I’m not holding out hope for the show being particularly good (hope I’m wrong🤞🏻) the suit itself looks great.

The figure looks great, in the head sculpt I cannot see Charlie Cox a hundred percent, agreed that he looks better with the glasses, I personally prefer daredevil with the red suit, but the yellow one looks very good as well.

People were def hating on this suit just cuz it was in she hulk. Cuz they actually managed to make it pretty good. At night it looks good with the lighting making the gold really pop. But in the day time it looks so cheap. I mean the red suit also did look lamer in the day but the yellow one did not look good in the daylight

Am I the only one who genuinely likes this suit? I mean yeah the red suit is THE definitive look for DD and of course the black suit from both season 1 and 3 are awesome but I genuinely think this look inspired by the original design from 1964 is great, considering he’s only worn in LA so far my theory is that he wears the red and yellow suit on the west coast and the red suit on the east coast

I chuckled when you went to get the accessories and sort of tossed DD back into the box. I know it probably wasn't on purpose, but it made me laugh. I'm surprised by how much better the suit looks when you can actually see it. The silver really helps give it contrast in certain areas. Sad that the Matt sculpt is so goofy looking though. But when you showed it on the SooSoo Toys body at the end I was like 'hey that's actually good.' I do love the slight smirk from the helmeted sculpt, that certainly makes it look like Charlie and authentic DD. If only they could have given the Matt sculpt a smile too, maybe that would have helped. If they make a new version of DD based off Born Again, I will buy him 100%. Two red Daredevils side by side with the SooSoo Toys black suit would be amazing.

This review did more to get me hyped than the blogger photos or Sideshow’s unboxing. Looking forward to having a Daredevil in my collection finally and I agree with you on liking the colors due to its comic significance and his dad’s boxing outfit although I’m also interested in seeing if anyone does a repaint for different color schemes.

Thanks for the review Justin. Seeing them side by side, 1.0 Netflix is still the king. Im pretty disappointed in the Hot Toys Charlie Cox sculpt, and the expression on the masked sculpt is dumb. The figure looked better with the 1.0 head on it. Soosootoys one looks way better. I think its a missed opportunity by not having bare feet and bare hands in there too.

I liked the proportions better on the new because in the old one the neck comes as very short and the shoulders really high, that's something that has always bothered me since I've first seen It. Also, you mentioned de body being a literal rectangle and ok, i can see what you mean, but he was pretty rectangled in the show as I remember 😂 Anyway, cool fig and great video as always Justin!!

At this point, for me, it's unironically the best version of the DD suit. They did a great job with the repainting in the right sections, as well as removing the previously unnecessary black inserts and segments (which took up almost half the color of the entire red suit, and made the image overdesigned).

I'm not a fan of the yellow and red color scheme on Daredevil no matter what the reason for it. It exemplifies the fact that a blind man should not make color choices. That said , to each their own. I'm more of a fan of the red costume from the comics.
