I can definitely understand the complaints about repaints from the long term, serious collectors. For guys like me, that are just starting a collection, this is huge service. I missed out on the original Mark 46 when it was available. Furthermore, I like the paint scheme of the concept version much more. So, for me it's a win. I didnt realize how different it was from the actual concept art. I'll have to open my Art of the Movie book when my figure comes in. Thank you so much for the review!

Probably this figure. Not sure if you talk about the "real milk version" of the War Machine or just the repaint "Special edition"...personally I own the special editiojn repaint but not the milk edition...it's a nice release but I'd personally take the Concept Mark 46 over that one.

Great review as always. We all knew it was a repaint. But now showing us what the real concept art one looked like, it's put the whole figure on a false look. I have the Cap concept art and love the figure. But not getting this. So glad your video explained what you have found out.

Great video but I wonder about your disappointment with this figure. Surely you knew you were getting a repaint. Also, as you mentioned the price on the 46/47 is crazy online right now, so it's nice for people who didn't pick them up. My major problem with this release is that they chose not to include the head sculpt, neck collar, and empty helmet.

Thanks for watching - and yes, of course i knew it was a repaint. It's just the way Hot Toys was promoting it that got me wrong. And then you're totally right...it's a good way to get into this suit design without loosing the money that you basically could use for one month of renting a nice appartment. ;-)

Great review and beautiful video quality, Andre. I agree with you. It would have been nice to see a figure based on the actual artwork, instead of just a repaint. Especially, since it’s supposed to be celebrating 10 years of Marvel. I’m sure it’ll still make a fine addition to your Iron Man collection, though (even as just a variant of the Mk 46). Hello again! Still loving the new intro style as always. Great review on the repaint. Let's be honest you're extremely right it's a repaint I'm just glad I got mine (the original) from AlterEgo Comics it's amazing how being scammed can be a blessing in disguise (I got my money back from that scam too by the way so alls well that ends well). Speaking about the Mk45 that's what the scam was I was originally gunning for the Mk45 but the seller on eBay never shipped it to me. His profits from the scam lasted for months to Paypal finally decided to give the money back but it led me to AlterEgo who at that time since Civil War was just coming out and they had stock left got bleeding edge. Anyway Hot Toys is wasting their time with some things like Alita and I'll admit even though I loved Christopher Robin (I cried several times during it so that should show a hint of my love for that movie) Pooh and Piglet? They're missing out on great live action highly detailed action figure adaptable characters from old movie even not even just talking about new ones. They need to get their act together. I didn't see your video on IW Doctor Strange because I want to be surprised managed to capture a spot on him on AlterEgo glad a person cancelled their PO. I wanted to ask Captain Marvel what do you think? I'm only considering her because if you know about the show Avenger's Earth's Mightiest Heroes I'd like to create that roster someday I love that show. Then there's the Marvel Ultimate Alliance video games I used her a lot then under her Ms. Marvel name. EDIT: also forgot to mention the war machine punisher armor from future fight or whatever the marvel game is. Really just why I don't think that's relevant

Hey dude, sorry...only saw this now. Thanks for the huuuge comment. :-) Such scam experiences are always a hassle...but as you said PayPal def. backs the buyer here good. Personally I'm all into the Iron Man suits , also War Machine...i just can't get enough of them.

Afford it? To a clown like you maybe a Hot Toys figure is expensive. I mostly collect statues and they are usually much more expensive.
