This has pretty much everything I ever hoped for when I passed on the 1.0 Iron Spider and then some. LED light up suit, insta-kill eyes and better proportions. The battle damaged head sculpt is the icing on the cake since it seems I'll be able to use it on my No Way Home integrated suit. Its the definitive Iron Spider.

I was able to secure the artisan version the day preorders went up, I personally am going to use the head sculpt with my Spiderman 2 Black Suit Peter Parker because I feel with the expression and the look of having been through hell and wearing the black suit together will be pretty good, at least in my opinion lol 😂

I liked that now the spider legs are attached magnetically to the figures back, Spidey is my favorite superhero and I am more of a classic look for him, I got the classic suit from the video game and also the new red and blue suit from no way home, however I may give him a chance to have a more armored look for spidey , I think it will complement the collection very well

Amazing headsculpt but the only unmasked headsculpt Spideys I display are the trio from NWH. So I have no problem going standard for this one Edit: Neck bulge?!?! NO! There is no defending this. This is a nanotech suit. I can live with the bunching of the fabric around the ankles and around the body if you pose it a little but NOT on the neck. Tobey's still pisses me off I thought they learned this when they made the final swing suit?

Hello justin , when talking about the foot connection , this can work well , if the base was flat then you could stand him up it would work well. But yes having a second connector would be a good idea. The base is re used from another figure I think cant place it now though

I defiantly see your point with the bagginess for the ankles. I also dont see toe articulation. Maybe there are some but I can't see them from the pics. We'll know when released. The appendages on the suit are called Waldos as Waldos are devices which, through electronic, hydraulic, or mechanical linkages, allows a hand-like mechanism to be controlled by a human operator (too lazy to write own def. Like a puppet. The name is also inspired by a short story by Robert A. Heinlein about a person who invents robot hands. Name of the character is Waldo Farthingwaite-Jones. Same, i really thought for a 2.0 they would go for a die cast for this because the rubber suits are just awful for iron spider color mismatching with the head and bad creasing. The mk 5 is identical for the having multiple panel cuts on the suit if they can do that they can do it here.

My only issue with this figure is how long the torso area. It doesn't look natural for a person. Otherwise they should've saved artisan spiderman for the next film since he's suppose to have longer hair.

Looks like my theory that Hot Toys is redeeming themselves from crappy releases they made for Infinity War and Endgame is coming true, slowly and surely. We already got Wanda Artisan and now we're gonna get Spider-man Artisan. I'm still hoping they'll finally release Captain America Artisan and blonde + duo-color Black Widow Artisan. There's no way they're not gonna reuse the newly minted Black Widow body until the mold breaks down 😂😂
