The bottom of the spider and legs on the abdomen should’ve been able to “hinge” at those segmented parts to allow better torso articulation and less worry about damaging the suit

Peter Parker yup, me too. Don’t know why they changed it so drastically. It transitions so well to live action unlike other costumes from the books like captain americas. So I get why they changed caps, but the iron spider? No clue.

Love they went with the comic style robotic legs. Definitely separates it from the MCU version more and also make it much more comic accurate. Gonna get one and have mine purely sitting on the robot legs.

This this is FIRE! Hot Toys is really doing their thing with this line. My only hope is that they don't leave us hanging with not releasing some of the more coveted suits like they did with Ironman. The segmented suit parts with hinges for better articulation is what I'm talking! about! I NEED: 1.FUTURE FOUNDATION 2.PAPER BAG SPIDEY 3.BIG TIME 4.SCARLET SPIDER MKII 5.CYBORG SPIDEY and 6.GHOST SPIDEY Just for contrast.

So actually when you equip the iron spider legs suit power with the comic book iron spider suit it changes the legs to the comic ones. So they’re all good when you where that suit. It’s different with every other suit.

I want to say that in a patch of the game, Insomniac updated the iron spider legs to fit the suit you were wearing. So if you wear the MCU IS you get the movie accurate ones and if you wear the comic one, you get the comic legs.

The PS4 suits are some of the best designs of each Spider-Man suit and insomniac hit it right with every single one I think Hot Toys saw that as well and went for insomniac’s design for iron spidey but also purposefully gave it the comic accurate arms Basically, they have a comic accurate iron spider, but with insomniac’s design, which I honestly think was the right move

Justin's Collection honestly idk maybe some type of spandex hybrid similar to what people wear to the gym or like the Scarlett spider I don’t have one but that material seams more posable. Another one that seemed good was the suit on that toys era beast you did a video of. I mean what do they make real life movie/ cosplay suits of? Maybe I’m just asking for too much.

The 4 legs in the game was meant solely for the MCU version. The comic Iron Spider was basically only an alternate skin per se for the MCU Iron Spider in-game mechanics. They didn't wanna take the time to change the in-game mechanics to cater for 3 legs so you'd have to deal with the MCU's legs on the comic suit. Edit: My point is that Insomaniac Games was lazy on their part and if Hot Toys went game accurate, it would be all kinds of wrong. You don't have to treat it as a Video Game Masterpiece lol.

I think the only reason he has four arms in the game is because it’s easier to reskin a premade model rather than model a brand new character AND completely reanimate the legs. I’m personally glad they went the route of going comic accuracy with 3 instead of game.

In the game they are not the same legs as the MCU Iron Spider legs... MCU has that blue accent where Iron Spider is just all gold like these are. Yes I believe their were 4 in the game either way, but the actaul design of them were different for Iron Spider. Which I was very happy to see when I played the game the first time haha

The different arms are due because there isn't a model of them for that suit. You get the MCU Iron Spider arms.
