Great show as always. Even though Inart goal is to make the most prestige and accurate figures ever made they walking on thin ice here because for me, hot toys beat them to their punch. I wanted to wait for their version of BatFleck but eventually I saw the 2.0 of hot toys and decided it’s good enough for me. Also giving the fact in a year or so I will add him to my shelf where in Inart case, maybe early 2028….

JnD's Joker is epic and looks amazing! The Batman was a laughable effort for their price point but I don't think they're done. They just felt the sting of the feedback.

I think Chadwick's death was still too fresh to recast him in the movie. Keco nailed it. The first movie was lightning in a bottle. While I enjoyed the 2nd film it was overcome by Chadwick's shadow. I liked Iron Heart, but I hated her suit and I hated the Predator suit that the warriors wore. Thought Shuri becoming Black Panther was good and love her suit. It also felt too long but it had to be cause of how they had to adjust for Chadwick. I also couldn't have cared less for Namor. As for too much Star Wars, I think you all kinda dodged the real issue. It's not fatigue or saturation, it's finances. The world has become ridiculous with taxes going up and up and wars being ignited left right and center, the financial implications are insane. I didn't mind that there was a plethora of Endgame figures released and I don't mind that there's a plethora of Star Wars figures being announced. The question is: does the average person have finances available to get all of these figures when one trip to costco used to cost is $100 but is now $400? Edit: For Nat, I understand her frustration with the suit going all the way to the top of the neck but the neck bulge of Tobey still pisses me off. The new Tom suit looks good and the visible seam on the unmasked headsculpt looks like a natural wrinkle. The black panther suit is nanotech so it shouldn't have a wrinkle, Just give us a neck gasket

Hot Toys - Shuri looks excellent! fact is, i am not a fan of the movie. Besides, i own the previous Shuri, and that is enough for my collection. Unless JND can bring their price down, they may aswell stick to 1/3 statues. Hot Toys - She-HULK, how much longer do we have to wait for the figure to drop? A recceived a new (not new release) figure this week. Yan Toys - A Clockwork Orange - Alex. I really like the figure. The box feels like quality. One of the accessories, a large white phallus is made from heavy clay/pottery/china type material which is very faithful to the source material! XD

In regards to oversaturation of Star Wars figures I think Star Wars is such a deep franchise that they’ve been able to pull from all over for the announcements this year. Personally I don’t care about Legends characters like Revan and Starkiller but the Ahsoka line interested me a lot since I’m a prequel and clone wars fan. Like, you don’t have to buy every figure. Just get the ones that you’re connected to. Comparing the wide range of recent Star Wars announcements from comics, video games, Ahsoka, ROTJ, Bad Batch, etc to the oversaturated Endgame line is a poor comparison, IMO, as yes that’s the culmination of the saga but it’s still just one movie where they made too many of every figure that HT is still discounting them.

To point out casting replacements there have been others outside of Howard/Cheadle. Norton was replaced with Ruffalo’s Banner/Hulk, Emma Fuhrmann was replaced with Kathryn Newton for Cassie Lang and now Harrison Ford is General Ross/Red-Hulk. Recasting T’challa should have been the move but like KeCo pointed out we get why they didn’t. But they should have. T’challa had more to give and the character is always bigger than the actor.

Pretty sure Lord Starkiller is DLC for the first game! The second game has a DIFFERENT dark side version of Starkiller (no spoilers) that is a different DLC

But do we really need more announcements by InArt , when not only do they face issues to complete them on time , but also pile up more and more QC issues with the bigger and later batches ? Maybe they should focus on completing and doing it properly , what they have started years ago , rather than adding more announcements. Just my opinion.

Spot on! The more figures they announce, the more frustrating it gets. It feels like a kick in the teeth for those who are kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting... particularly as we see the "influencers" receiving them months in advance. On their FB group in March, Inart stated that The Batman would be shipping (shipping implies that the majority will be getting their orders, not a dozen KZbinrs) in March, yet here we are in June; how many customers have received their figures yet, and where the hell are the sculpted hair versions?? At least with Gandalf, they had the excuse that producing the hair and beard takes time, what's the excuse this time? Will the batch system rectify the undersized heads?? I very much doubt it. Inart's organisation, communication, and QC is shocking, a foul blend of incompetence and deceit.

@@dangiambrone7350 yep . And on top of the lies and slow shipping , what started worrying me is the huge decrease in quality with every single batch with Gandalf . And the missing or wrong accessories aside , people are mass posting cross eyed Gandalfs with terrible hair and are like “ masterpiece “ unitonically. The hype of the community and the herd mentality is literally what gives the appearance of InArt , and that’s beyond me . I’m super glad I didn’t buy their Gandalf , but I have been waiting with 2 PO on rooted Aragorn since forever , and they refuse to even say when he’ll start shipping . And by now we sadly know “ start shipping “ they mean the semi-decent QC influencer batch of 10 figures , and everybody else waiting to up to an year , just to get an inferior in quality product , bc QC is not a real thing for them . And the funniest part is , there are people who constantly excuse all of this and praise their company for “ quality “ (??!) and “ communication “. LOL please … JND might be delusional , but that delusion surely seems contagious. If my Aragorn is of low quality , I’m canceling my other PO , I’m not overpaying for inferior product , just because the community over hyped it . People that all of a sudden became LOTR fans with InArt , posting horribly looking Gandalf photos galore , dare criticize Asmus Toys who have a super solid line in the franchise for at least a decade .

Totally. I don’t think think their problem is lack of announcements but lack of giving release windows and sticking to those windows. If one orders an Inart figure it shouldn’t take 18-24 months to release then another 3-6 months to actually get it in hand after release.

To Keco I will say jnd definitely has their problems especially with that Keanu Reeves that does not look like him and I'm quite upset about the re portrait change of the Christopher Reeves Superman now to say that their 1/6 joker doesn't look like Heath ledger you are out of your freaking mind .I couldn't make that look more like ledger if I had magical powers ! if jnd offered that 1/6 joker in a 1/3 I would buy that in a heartbeat at any asking price !

Will forgets that HT is still a Chinese company and they still cater to an Asian market. All the Ironman figures, Bale Batman figures, cosbaby sell like hotcakes over there. Star Wars sells well in North America and Europe.

I think you should have did a review about kid Fisto because this is another figure that's been in hot toys prison for so long that not everybody received a notification that it was available for pre-order I put a pre-order for this years ago and I didn't get a single notification not to this day it was saying hot toys Instagram is how I know it was available and I think the reason why I kid pistol got such a little bit of a popularity because of the animated series of Clone Wars if we only saw him in Revenge of the Sith and I'm sure some people feel that way who didn't watch the cartoon then majority of people wouldn't care but I definitely picked it up because I feel like this is a figure that we may never see again and if they make a 2.0 is going to be a long time when that will happen

How many releases did Hot Toys produce in their 2nd year of operation? Hot Toys began making figures in 2000 and they were garbage. Now, 24 years later, they are kicking ass. Sideshow was making 1/6 scale figures before Hot Toys so it is not like it was a new thing (Kenner anyone). If InArt can be sustainable with 10 figures a year but with amazing quality, lasting materials (no pleather), then who cares? I believe comparing the two (InArt and Hot Toys) does neither justice.

Im. Sooooo sick of star wars, I watch many streams and this month it was just hard...I kind of stopped. Cant handle more 2 hrs streams all Star Wars talk. This stream kind of different cuz of topics variety but still, is Hot Toys only gonna produce SW this year? They should let us know to look somewhere else 😅😅😅

Understand the frustrations, but I learnt if they show off things again and again you don't like...... It's money saved (great). Also 1/6 isn't just hot toys. 1/6 is much more..... So many companies producing as good or better figures. Or ones doing figures hot toys will never do. This alone does it much more. I get the live stream not being about what you like, that's fair and we'd all do the same 👍

Keco is right about JND. They committed to these over designed, over priced 1/6 figures and they can't suddenly change their philosophy by making worse figures for the price of HT or IA. They either continue like they began and release 1 figure per year, or they exit 1/6. I try not to play favourites or wish poorly on a company, but JND are arrogant and sniff their own shit because they think it's gold.
