I absolutely LOVED his dark portrayal as the Mandarin character, although I was disappointed by the bait and switch. Great performance on all occasions Sir Ben!

I picked up this figure 2 years ago. He was apparently so unpopular that BBTS was selling him for $75. I didn’t think the character was anything special but that price for a brand new Hot Toys figure - I went for it. I was blown away when I received him. To this day, I think it’s a top 3 head-sculpt. Maybe even number 1. I still keep him out on display; a great figure and presence as he’s lounging contemplatively on his chair with his shades.

Great review! 🙌🏽 I actually just picked up this figure I few weeks ago at a great price! 👍🏽 As a big Marvel fan, I enjoyed Ironman 3 and liked the story line of the Mandarin. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Hope you get see Shang-Chi soon as that was an awesome movie! 🤩 The tailoring and that head sculpt makes this a fantastic figure to have in the display! 💪🏽 Definitely glad I finally got this added to the collection. Perfect timing with this awesome review!

Hi Justin! Another great review video. I’ve seen Shang Chi and I remember this character played by Ben Kingston. I love so much about this figure. The jewelry on the hands and the outfit are stellar. What a lovely presentation and I am quite fond of that greenish gold look in traditional clothing. Kingston’s likeness shines in this figure and I remember him most from playing Ghandi in a film in the 80s. With that being said he’s still going strong as an actor. The likeness of the head sculpt is spot on. I am eager to get your crews opinion of the character in the movie though and I also think you are probably right about the popularity of the character going forward. This is a quantity figure and I love how the presentation of him is executed but I have to confess that I didn’t know the character well when I saw the film a week ago or so. Once again this figure is unique not just because of the character but because it’s Kingsley who is a cinematic icon. Thanks for the video 💎😊
