Our old buddy The Clipper King would say "That's Arnold, brothers!" and the Phicen body swap is incredible! I can't imagine why Hot Toys doesn't re-release these classic figures, like the Aliens and other models. So many possibilities for poses and dioramas with Arnold here!

This is still amazing even after all these years! Hopefully we get a reissue of this, but I doubt it because Hot toys wants do cheap repaints on storm clones and iron men but heaven forbid they reissue a classic figure from a classic movie 🤣 Although the announcement of Robocop 3 makes me slightly hope that more non Star Wars and MCU stuff is SLOWLY starting to come out 😁

Hot Toys got the rifle wrong, if you look immediately behind the dust cover on the right side there is moulded plastic sticking out, a forward assist. The model used in the movie, AR 15 SP1/M16 was smooth sided without this. If we wanted to further nitipick below the dust cover there are raised surfaces , in the movie its smooth apart from magazine release - slab sided! The M203 used in the movie was a mock up of real version, this Hot Toys type represents the real M203. Great review👍👍👍👍

I did the same mod back in 2017 and it's definitely a vast improvement! I couldn't be happier with my figure👍😊! BTW, Hot Toys never included an M203 grenade in the accessories for this figure when this figure was released.

Despite the lack of detail this is still a very solid Arnold sculpt. The only extra thing I did with mine was switch out the boots for some leather ones that are bigger and more in scale with the phicen body (just search for 1/6 jungle boots on ebay).

Hi Justin! Hope you are well, I’m doing great. It’s funny because I just did a watch party with La Reina of this movie, The Predator a few days ago. I hadn’t seen the film for several years and enjoyed the movie which I consider incredibly good with the story, characters and 80s vibe. While watching the film I kept thinking how fit the men were, some of whom were either in the military or had fines SBA grounds. The Dutch character is one of my favorites and this figure looks so nice, the clothes and the body are done so well but it seems a bit thin and changing out the body would be better. I would love to see a Carl Weathers figure as well, perhaps even the whole team. Thanks so much for the video 😊💎

Vest with no inner shirt is thr image burned in my mind from that movie, and the skin tone on that Phicen body matches the tone of the headsculpt so well! Great review and I think the Phicen body is a definite must, especially to fix that brontosaurus neck issue! 😄

Your video hadn't even been posted yet... I was looking at my Dutch last week and noticed the left knee joint broke from just sitting in storage! Older Hot Toys knee joints were very flimsy... I've had Dutch's and Hellboy's both break in storage. Ordered the Phicen Arnold body and hope to have it soon. Yours looks awesome!

I want to get this figure with the phicen 34 body. Any advice for NOT tearing the arms at the elbows on those? Reading all kinda of shit saying they will tear over time. Is there a treatment spray or suttin i can treat the elbows with to make them not degrade?

No unfortunately, if you stretch silicone it will always break due to the pressure eventually no matter what you do

I was gonna say that rifle is not an M4… but if you zoom in on the markings on the gun it does technically say m4 on it although that is not an M4. It’s actually an M16 given two things: 1. The barrel length 2. The fixed stock Both those indicate it’s a full length rifle and not a carbine. And then of course if you Google it Dutch uses a M16A1 with an under mounted grenade launcher. Also didn’t realize it until I was googling to make sure Dutch uses an m16, the 1911 pistol isn’t accurate, Dutch carries a desert Eagle in predator not a 1911. Carl Weathers Character was only one in the squad with a 1911 everyone else, Dutch, Billy, and the rest of the crew all carried Desert Eagles.
