Yep, its unacceptable that they’re still using the same headsculpt from the very first rocket figure, its lame, yeah the suit bla bla, its his gpfilm like you said, they should ve given him at the very least 2 sculpts. Cosmo i agree should not be plastic, for the price it should be fabric. Most pf the gotg 3 will pretty much be just be suited bodies with maybe a few different heads for star lord of nebula( also her arm).

Man I can’t look at rocket in that blue suit anymore without thinking about his tragic backstory from Guardians 3. I’ve never cried seeing a movie but Guardians has almost made me cry 3 times; When Peter saw his mom at the end of 1, when he was a listening to music with his mom in and target practice with Yondu in 2, and when Rocket had to saw goodbye to his friends in the after life. James Gunn is just on another level.

Thanks Ryan for taking the pics!!! Great review and spot on. I totally agree. It’s a shame they went cheap on Cosmo and Rockets head sculpt re-used. This movie deserved more love from Hot Toys. They didn’t put that much effort and delivering something updated. Although it all looks ok. It’s disappointing they didn’t do what you had recommended or expected. They could have really knocked our socks off and went full out. They are more than capable. They missed out on a great opportunity to deliver something special. With the Trilogy over. This current team members won’t all be coming back, it deserved something more.

$280+tax&shipping. 10 year old headsculpt. Basically no accessories. Cosmo looks alright but is inaccurate and basically a statue. The price climb has been gross for some time now. But they expect us to think this is worth $10 more than 89 Keaton Batman? More than ROTJ Vader? This is the nastiest price ive seen for a figure.

Kinda sucks that Rocket only have 1 head and Cosmo is just a statue, but good thing is seems like people gonna suck it up and do first day preorder, so there's possibility for DX version, which I am gonna wait. Honestly Cosmo need to be articulate and with fabric on top, and Rocket just have so much emotion in this vol 3 so just one angry head is just sucks for a nearly $300 figure

I've become really disenchanted with hot toys lately. Repeated blatant and cheap decisions while driving up prices, that you see third party companies outdo, and even some regular action figures look better. I remember when Hot Toys blew competitors out of the water. After seeing the inart Joker in hand these look like toys, not high end Collectibles

@SuperMicklovin for quality based on the price? If you want a new version of 1/6 rocket currently this is the only option but even it hasn't been fully updated in the most meaningful way. I'll choose to spend my money on higher quality items not made by a company clearly cheaping out on its customers. I expect repeat parts from a $20 figure, not from one costing over 10x as much

Cosmo is just an accessory so they didn't spend the time on him. Glad I'll be getting him with Rocket so no complaints. Maybe they'll do a stand alone Cosmo figure later. As far as the Rocket head sculpt, this will be my first Rocket figure so it doesn't bother me. Waiting on Adam Warlock, that would be great.

Out of all the HT Rocket Raccoon figures we've gotten I personally still think the Endgame one stands supreme. Rocket is my favorite MCU character and GotG3 is HIS movie! wtf Hot Toys. The closed mouth has always looked bad! the open mouth on the Endgame version was great but come one. Give us a sarcastic smile or laugh, give us a determined or scared... something! this head scalp wasnt good on the first rocket and it isnt good now. Glad i grabbed his Endgame version, cause all the others IMO just don't compare.

The biggest let down. GOTG3 was for the character Rocket. I cant believe Hot toys have done this to my favorite character. Now I see they dont care about movies. They only care about their profit. They werent like this. So disgusting
