This guy doesn’t look like a goblin at all, and yet it looks surprisingly like it’s comics counterpart. That’s why despite hating SMNWH, I will definitely get this guy : this design rocks !

This is a great figure. The PERS really help the head sculpt come to life. Both versions of Green Goblin in one shot during this video... easily the highlight. I can now see why Spiderman Universe collectors are going nuts for this line of figures. Yes, another banger figure from Hot Toys. Thanks for the review Justin.

there's a lot of detail in this figure, both his outfit and sculpt. As for the lack of weathering in those little pumpkin storage compartments, if the compartments were closed most of the time there wouldn't be much weathering in the real world 🤷‍♀.

This makes you wish there was more detail and little purple/silver/gold parts and pieces back on Willem Dafoe's suit in 2002 and wonder why they didn't add it. That could've injected a little bit more purple and would have made sense. The original mask always raises questions about where it came from (other than the hints that it was derived from Norman's tribal masks), but I personally think it at least would've worked better than the realistic motorised rubber mask they tested.

Hello Justin, did you get the Neck Adapter or Neck Extension Peg for the Norman Osborn Sculpt to fit on the SL-Custom? Did you have to remove the inner adapter on the Norman Osborn sculpt before swapping it with the Neck Adapter? Or did you use a neck extension pegs?

I stand by my opinion that this should have had the helmet included as an alt head too. I said the same thing about the Lego set and got attacked by people saying that it isn't accurate. But, in my opinion, coolness > accuracy, especially given that the movie representation is itself inaccurate to the comics.

I absolutely love this design, everything about it, from the much needed purple added to the silver and gold bits, as well as the messenger bag. However, I don't think look made logical sense in the movie. Norman showed up on the bridge in pristine condition, then he had his moment on the green screen alley where he (very easily) broke his helmet. Then he walked around NYC for a bit and ended up in the condominium working on... stuff. When did his suit get so battle damaged, with the broken bits on the shoulders and torso? Did he do that himself? His first fight with Peter didn't look like it warranted that degree of damage, and it was only about 24 hours between that and him showing up on the culturally vandalized Statue of Liberty. Did he spend 24 hours shopping for a new bag and leather belts, screwing in seemingly useless hydraulic bits in the back and putting together all the blades and shit, as well as supposedly stripping the rocket launchers from his glider to mount them on his forearms instead (live, exposed, explosive ammunition, by the way)? F*cking strange is what I'm saying, even if it is the best Goblin suit we've seen, and I wish he'd looked like that in the Raimi movies, as it even seems to match the sexy rugged look of Raimi's Dock Ock. But the Now Way home version of Otto looks worse than he did in the original, even if Alfred Molina aging meant he couldn't have an exposed chest anymore, they didn't have to give him that haircut, and those glasses and that ugly turtle neck. Can't win every redesign.
