Sorry if you already answered this question, but wondering which you prefer? I have the ANH one, but been considering getting the ROTJ one. I definitely like the original look more, but still... It's a very tough call, since they're so similar. Plus, with me collecting a few dozen action figure lines (and 1/6 figures), I gotta be a tad more picky.

Tbh. I like the ANH version. Always thought of that version as the definitive stormtrooper version. You can pass on the ROTJ version if you only want 1 version of Stormtroopers. Hope that helps

By nose vent, do you men the frown aka the mouth with the “teeth”? I’ve never thought of it as being for the nose but I gues you’d still be able to breath through it

I always thought they were some kind of vent. If they aren't vents then I can see why these stormies miss their shots. It's because they are suffering from lack of oxygen! Lol. Thanks for watching!

Personally i much prefer the A New Hope and Rogue One Stormtroopers over the Return Of The Jedi version. Theres something about the Helmet and armour that looks off on the Return Of The Jedi version👍🏻

For me the best stormtrooper armor was the rogue one. They were a nice, sleek design. You cant go wrong with any of them tbh. Thanks for watching man!

Man, so that's what's in the box... haha. Glad you opened for me and let them get some air time. I only opened when I first got it to see that everything was in the box, then never opened. Great review, I'll keep my ANH trooper and probably won't be upgrading to ROTJ version. Nice to see the body looked to be still pretty tight. I had SS troopers that went loose over time while sitting in the box... :(

Very cool Stormtroopers indeed 👍 I have the Star Wars Stormtrooper already and was going to buy the ROTJ figure. But I ended up using the funds on a different figure instead. Absolutely, you can't go wrong with either figures.

Yah I think if you already have stormtrooper in your collection, you dont have to get the new ones unless you are a completionist or you just want to have another version of the stormtrooper in your collection. Hot toys did a great job of releasing ROTJ for the collectors like me that missed out on the new hope

Both versions are really nice but I still like the look of the ANH version. It's the version I already own and I have other figs I need to spend my hard earned money on instead of picking up the new one.

I agree. You cant go wrong. I think hot toys released the rotj version for the collectors who missed out on the ANH ones and for those collectors who are completionists

Agreed, hands down a nicer sculpt. The only thing I would change on it is the armour on the arms, the ROTJ version has better armour on the arms by far.

I think the Star Wars one is far Superior to the ROTJ one. But I'm a little biased, I feel like everything looks better in Star Wars then ESB & ROTJ. Especially the Darth Vader. The Star Wars & Revenge of the Sith Vader's in my opinion blows all the other Vader's away. I like how the Star Wars one it's kind of beat up looking. But I really tell you how the inner tunic goes over the mantle. Lament the Revenge of the Sith one you can't beat the symmetrical helmet. I love the mantle to that one as well the fact that is boxing his chest is actually attached to the costume not held on by straps like in the other three movies. Just makes more sense to me but I should be attached to the actual outfit. I'm praying what toys does an episode 3 does Darth Vader and his full outfit. But I know this is about the Stormtrooper kind of babbling here LOL. I definitely think the Star Wars Stormtroopers V Superior to that of The Empire Strikes Back or the Return of the Jedi ones. There's just something about the look of Star Wars okay I'll let you movies in the original trilogy just doesn't have can't quite put my finger on it there's just something Superior to me in the look I'm Star Wars when it comes to the original trilogy. Great video.

Thanks a lot for this comparison. There’s another slight difference between the 2 actually, the hand’s armor pieces are a different shape. As for the troopers, I like both. I missed out on the ANH and RO versions, so I went for the ROTJ deluxe one with Death Star wall instead. I think I like the ANH helmet a little bit better, but the green lenses on the ROTJ version look great in person.
