I like to buy pre grooved decking and use a “Tiger claw” pneumatic gun with hidden fasteners , countersink and plug in spots if your material is fighting you . Fastest hidden fasteners I have ever seen and hold super well . I’ve used them on anything from azec to ipe

Our treated wood is soaking wet usually so this probably wouldn’t work. The amount of twist and shrink that happens needs as much holding power as possible. Cool idea if it works for you though.👍

What a nightmare, deck without fasteners or available screws. If anyone has ever had to replace a damaged board, you don’t want hidden fasteners
