Those are basically the Ford GT40 right? They look beautiful being so old today. 2:55 I love that dark color. Thought it's a deep red color?

Yup, gt40 mark 4’s.. wish my camera or room lights did better. It’s like a chocolate brown, beautiful in person.

That’s a tough question. Probably 1973. There was an oil embargo and all companies were struggling to make money. Hot wheels in order to stay in business painted all the cars in enamel instead of their spectra flame paint. They too only made 3 new castings that year although they sold 34 castings in total (31 previously used castings and the 3 new ones).
