I have done quite few videos on Highway 35 World Race and AcceleRacers but I focus on the toy cars. It is nice to hear your experience because you know quite a bit about the games, movies and how the cars appeared in them. I never bought the Master Set that came with the AcceleRacers though. Did you get the Highway 35 World Race Ultimate Track Set?

I never could complete either of these sets when I was young. Hardly saw any highway 35 cars. The only ones I did find were the Ford F-150 and Superduty. As for the acceleracers, I was only able to get about 10 and a few variations like rivited with the 5 spoke wheels and the 6 spoke wheels and also spinebuster

Both sets were purchased from Ebay. The Highway 35 set is fairly uncommon, but the Acceleracers set is even less common.

Acceleracers got canned after the 4th movie because the studio that made it (Mainframe Entertainment) went out of business while they were making 5 and 6 if i recall correctly they came back as Rainmaker Studios

I'm watching this vid in 2021, and the reason acceleracers 5 didn't happen is beause the hot wheels marketing team was "concerned acceleracers was becoming more popular than hot wheels itself" LIKE THEY HAD ONE MORE FILM TO MAKE THEN THEY WERE DONE, BUT THEY COULDNT DO THAT. Whew... sorry got a little heated. But it really pisses me off that acceleracers was cancelled because 'company don't want to lose money'

I think the movies were pretty good especially for 2005 CGI standards. However, I liked the rendering algorithm for World Race better. The CEL shading worked better for the movie.
