Ya know, if I had a nickel for every time Sprite Animation Studios and OLM Digital made a CGI animated series based off a classic IP that was filled with tons of references to prior stuff from that IP that got tons of hate by fans of that IP, I’d have two nickels. That’s not a lot but it’s funny that it happened twice

What made me like Hot Wheels: Let’s Race, is that it has the cars I have seen earlier when I was young, the famous Hot Wheels cars return, the cars I have seen in stop motion Hot Wheels videos also appear, it also has the 3 Hot Wheels cars I’ve seen from Team Hot Wheels, Bone Shaker, Twin Mill, and Baja Jump Truck! Although, I thought that Quick 'N' Six would appear in Hot Wheels: Let’s Race too. And new Hot Wheels appear too, like the GT Scorcher! There are also funny scenes that made me laugh, like Professor Rearview making a weird but funny maniacal laugh. I also saw a car from Highway 35 I’ve seen in this Netflix series, Deora II! Every car also have a special power, similar to the cars in Highway 35. It taught me many lessons, like, Science is only possible with imagination, Every failure means you’re one step closer to leading to success, and races are about bringing people together! And even better, this is the first Netflix show to have Hot Wheels and Mattel content! -Ranel Alifonso

@acceler23 yep some references to Cars, Highway 35, Infinite Loop, Acceleracers, plus Speed Racer, really miss playing Infinite Loop, epic game especially epic cars like Power Rage, Reverb, Synkro, Hollowback, Twin Mill, Rodger Dodger, Deora II

Id be surprised if you were, like i get hot wheels is technically made for kids but back then it felt like everyone could enjoy them. now it seems like they're focused more on younger kids and im not so sure hot wheels is as popular because of it.

However I was wishing the famous anime studios like Madhouse, or Studio Bones doing Acceleracers remake for older fans who now adult with different character art styles, story plot which is need to be darker and vehicles design, even realistic sound of the engines, then I would watch that instead of Let's Race by Netflix.

I gave some episodes a watch. Its... alright. It's just a cute kids show with no substance. I will say that I do love the animation of thw show, and I can't believe they got Grey DeLisle, Eric Bauza and Josh Keaton in this show!

Funny you mention that. It's not really related but the show reminds me of Paw Patrol with a racing twist. Why instead of pups we have kids, they have vehicles that can transform, and the voice actors sound like they could voice the pups though none of them voiced them. Plus the racing uniforms are color coded Blue, Red, Green, Pink, Yellow, and Orange.
