If you have a young child who is into this sort of stuff it's worth it. It's not hours of blaring engines, they're very deliberate in running these engines so not to put more time or fuel than what's needed for the show. My 4 year old has about 50 of these hotwheels and was super stoked to see 5 Alarm. We left early because he seemingly lost interest, it became more important for us to leave before the rest of the crowd did. In the end it was worth it. We were at the very very back and had a wonderful view of everything. No reason to spend a lot to get good seats. In fact ours were perhaps the best because we had an empty "VIP" row behind us for my son to utilize since he has endless amounts of energy.

From experience? Yes. Some earplugs and some noise canceling headphones, preferably worn at the same time for the young ones.
