The worst thing with today's track is those crappy connectors. I miss those orange track and purple C clamps. Those under track connectors and the 3 foot sections of track that were so fun to play with. Of course they sucked if mom got a hold of 3 of them and used them to tan your hide. That sound of a car going down a long track Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the sound of comfort for us. All the worries faded away listening to that Shhhhhhhhhhhhh watching and cheering on your favorite cars. That test you hadn't studied for the next day at school Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh gone. Getting yelled at for not doing your chores "That lawn ain't gonna mow itself" Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh gone. Your sister mad because you used her nail polish to paint your "63" Vette (hell it's not your fault it's the perfect shade of red). You tried to tell her if they didn't mean for it to paint your HotWheels with it why did they put a paint brush right in the damn cap sis? Now she's threatened to have her boyfriend best the crap out of you. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh gone. Why do some of us like to video little cars going down a plastic orange track? Same reason we watch said videos. We all need a little Shhhhhhhhhhhhh time. It's good for the soul. So next time someone's getting all up in your face just look them right in the eye and go Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh gone baby gone.
