Great review , finally a video in that someone lets the car really drive . ^^ You have done a little mistake in the discription , the car is not 1:12 scale ... it's 1:6 scale. 1:12 scale figures are 6 inch or 15 cm tall.

Its actually pretty close to 1:10 wheelbase and width - don't forget that these 12" barbies sticks out a lot - real person wouldnt stick out that much while having feet at the front axle at the same time :D

OMG I know this is an old video, but I only recently decided to purchase a Mandalorian Grogu and opted for the Hasbro version because of the adorable sounds and the amazing sound effect when he uses "The Force." But he doesn't walk. The Mattel version walks but has a low grinding sound that a lot of reviewers said was annoying. SO, here I am looking for a remote control device to convey my Baby Yoda, and OMG wouldn't he look sweet in a Barbie Corvette???!! And if I'm hearing correctly, the motor has a similar squeal to my Baby Yoda. Thank you so much for adding the measurements...I think my Baby Yoda will either fit into the well of the car, or heck I will figure it out because who wouldn't love a Baby Yoda riding a Barbie Corvette?! Thank you!!! #BarbieLorian!!

@@xINVISIGOTHx I will consider that if necessary, thank you! I've got my Grogu and his base is only 4-1/2 inches by 3 inches, so he may fit into the well of the car. I've also kept the plastic screws from his box so I may be able to use them with the seatbelts to keep him in place. Not sure if I can post photos in KZbin comments, but will at least let you know how it goes! Thank you again for your comprehensive review with measurements!! ❤

My car arrived and Grogu fits! I'm using a waist cincher clip to connect both seat belts around his waist and am still getting used to the controls but will try to post a video when I've mastered the tech. Thank you again for your review!

I just now trashed all of my Barbie movie boxes. It was very therapeutic lol It's really sad how limited these items are (including on the Mattel website). I love the mini-Corvette you threw into the trunk lol You did some nice off-roading there. I can't wait for the movie! And I just found out there's a Barbie doll convention up here in Orlando for a few days. I'm debating going to it. I'm trying to find some toy Barbie cars there

I still have the box but I really want to trash it because it's twice as big as the car. I'd like to get one of the barbie 1980s vettes but I think they're not very detailed so I might be disappointed. I dont want to pay a lot though. The movie looks like it will be funny!

@RapnuzeI i dont think think that would usually happen? But if it did, you could try cutting new treads with a cutting tool, or melting new treads with a red-hot tool heated in a flame, or glue on some rubber band treads, I dont know

It must be a problem either with the connection to the steering button on the controller, or the servo motor that controls the front wheels. Those might be hard to fix so you should see if you could return/exchange it

Hmmm I don't usually want to crack or scratch my toys on purpose. I did run it through a very thick mud puddle and it got stuck, had to clean it for the thumbnail photo. It still works after being halfway submerged in mud

I think it automatically turns off after you don't hit any buttons for a while but if you're really worried about it, take out the batteries
