Great Video! I usually just wire wheel the base and polish it with mothers, it turns out great and will age with that patina people like. Also be careful pushing wheels on with your thumb on the opposite side or you might get an axle in your thumb. Trust me, I know from experience that hurts like he**. Have a good one.

The black on the car would indicate early production cars. If it was a 68 and they reissued in 69 or carried the car over to 69. It wouldn't have the black paint on it. Its very prevalent on the beatnik bandit any grill on the front of 68 and 69 cars the p917 is another one that changes in late 69. If it has any black on the car its an early production.
