one of my favorite videos not because there supers but because my favorite hot wheels the Ferrari 599xx i got one but i had to get it on ebay i only have 2 2012 supers the other is the s2000 and i bought that on ebay to wish i could find supers on the pegs but im trying to collect all for 2013 i found the 09 corvette on the pegs best day ever but awesome video thanks

I like how the company does the new supers and new treasure hunts. It makes you actually have to look at the cars instead of just picking the green stripe.

Decided to start collecting Hot Wheels with my kids (they love it) in 2013, but we're still trying to pick up 2012 models wherever/whenever we find them on the pegs! 2012 Had some truly great stuff!

Yes, Supers are in the basic $1 package. They have the same UPC and come out of the same assortment of cars. If you watch my USA M Case video, I think that's the one where I got the Super '67 Camaro and you can see it come right out of the basic assortment case.

Regular Treasure Hunts are not in every case and are produced in lower quantities than regular cars. Supers are even more rare. Yes, the circle-flame logo is the designation for the 2013 basic Treasure Hunts. In this video, 2012 and for many years up til then, there was a green-stripe and Treasure Hunt Series on the package.

I just found my third super today at my local Kroger it was the ford fair lane i love it and i also like my road race camaro and my ford focus as well but the fair-lane is definitely my favorite of the three

I've never been able to find any Super T-Hunts in any store as long as I've been collecting. Up until 12/31/12 I said the same about basic T-hunts but I found one that day at my local grocery store. And then 2 weeks later I found another one at Family Dollar.

I found the '67 Chevelle, the Super Bee, the '68 Mustang, the Honda S2000, the Ford Focus, and the Ford Fairlane, plus doubles of the Honda and the Focus. My favourites of the ones I found: the Mustang (easily) and the Focus. Most wanted: the Ferrari 599XX (naturally), the Champion logo Camaro, and the Hot Wheels logo Maverick Grabber.

As a general rule, it's one-per 4-week cycle or case code. Sometimes there are left-overs that get inserted at the end-of-the-year cases (M, Q).

The Walmart Exclusive Subaru WRX STI with the redline tires is not a Treasure Hunt. Because it was a store exclusive, it is probably produced in smaller quantities than regular issues but higher quantities than Treasure Hunts.

Haven't had the pleasure off seeing a 2012 super in person. But from what I see here, I'd have to go with that Ferrari as my fav! That '69 Camaro is sweet as well. Love those redline tires! Thanks for the vid sir. 2 thumbs up!!

I really like the '67 Ford Mustang Coupe. I was not able to find it until I saw it at the end of 2012. I was able to find one $uper for 2012 and it was the '66 Ford Fairlane. I found the regular Treasure Hunts such as the '52 Chevy Truck and the '92 Ford Mustang.

in 2012 found 2 on the pegs (beetle & chevelle wagon) and traded for a 11 charger but ive already found 3 2013 supers (,K&N torino, red corvette, el camino)

599xx was my favorite. Got a super bee, maverick, 3 ford falcons, 69 camaro, and 2 chargers all found on the pegs. Never bought one yet.

I found 6 out of 15 in the the wild last year they were, Camaro Road Race, 71 challenger, maverick grabber, Fairlane, Ferrari, Chevelle wagon, then I traded for the rest my favorite have to be the Ferrari and the Challenger

My favorite 2012 super is the beetle! I have only managed to find one Super in the wild, it being the 73 Falcon in a 4 sided shipper The rest I have are from trades/raoks.

Only found the ferrari on the pegs , and I just found it last week ! I did buy both camaros . I don't necessarly got to have all the supers ...unless I find them hanging , I just buy what I like ! :-)

#askracegrooves ( just a statement ) since I've been single and today it's so hard to find STH's and now mainlines with many huntin and KZbin'n the hunt, I use to have a problem paying for STH's. I found 2, the Maverick and the Volkswagen beetle..neither of which I really cared for but nice to find nonetheless. I really wanted the super bee and the s2000..I hunted hard for those and came up empty. Finding 2 is better then nothing I suppose!

I managed to find two supers on the pegs last year, but only one basic TH. but this year so far I have found five basic TH but no supers! Lucky for me I don't think there as many collectors in UK as USA. Also ford focus is the best of the bunch for me!

B CASE HIT THE MARKET BEFORE THE A CASE B CASES WERE AT KMART ON K-DAY THEN THE A CASE HIT WAL-MART AND THEN THE B CASE HIT WAL-MART LOVE THE SHOW MY FAVORITE IS THE MUSTANG. FOUND LOTS OF SUPERS BUT ONLY HAD TO GET TWO BY OTHER MEANS.

Super as always, Learned something else no one has showed before. You didn't mention the Cards actually had a different art work to show the "super" of the find. I got started late (Nov 2012) but have found 7 supers. Last find this week in a dollar store and it was the Camaro Convert with ASW to boot!

Now that They're Undercover, You Got more Chances, The Search is Still Tough, but They're "Easier" to Find. The Last Ones I Found on The Pegs are The Focus R$, and The GT500 $uper $nake. My Fav for 2012 is The Ferrari 599XX, Got a Couple in Trades with some Friends, and for 2013 The GT500 $uper $nake!!

I love the paint jobs on supers. I just wish Mattel wouldn't put so many brown paint jobs on cars, but I still love all these cars I think Mattel did an excellent job in the car selection. so far 2013 is a bit of a let down in my opinion. I think if all these cars got released like in the boulevard series i would definetly get some extras!

My favorite was by far the road race camaro. I did well finding them. If you dont include opening cases at kday i found 9 of 15 in stores. 2 chevelle 396's, 1 camaro rr, 3 mustangs, 1 vw, 1 599xx, 2 grabbers, 3 hondas, 1 camaro conv. And 2 chevelle wagons.

i found plenty of treasure hunts, I'm guessing over hundred treasure hunts, but maybe only 25+ $upers......And I miss the green stripes i really do........:( I liked the 2012 treasure hunts collection and ideas Mattel had for 2012..but for 2013 I feel they should have left the green stripe for the regulars and kept the $upers secret for 2013.....but it didnt happen..... great review mister racegrooves..

Never found one here in the UK either. However I'm not the most diligent of collectors. I often fin the standard TH's but unfortunately they are mostly the fantasy cars like the surf crate or bikes so I leave them on the pegs.

Found the '71 Dode challenger at walmart in dunp bin. I think somebody didn't see it or a kind collector might have left it for the next. Its possible because i have seen 2 super treasures in a dump bin before. Anyways,great looking car!
