Do what they want,,,,,Its their money,, But collecting Hotwheels like I did back in 1968 has been ruined by the adult collectors.. I have over 300 great redlines... I just race them on my tracks .. What a brilliant transformation! 😎Can't believe it's the same vehicle that looked so kiddy like at first. I wonder what an American ford station wagon from Matchbox (31) would look like with redlines? Did I cross a line asking that question? Sorry but I'm no purist either. If it works good, if not, back to old drawing board. As for the Matchbox classic cars from the good old US of A I have been experimenting with a way to put whitewalls on their tires. Some cheap dollar store legos that have round extrusions on the back seem to be a cheap way of making a round circle. A dab of white paint on it and carefully pad it down onto the good side of a tire and well almost good. I'm still trying to get even coverage. It is like pad printing so once the tire is evenly covered in white I'll be golden. Hey, maybe red paint could be the way to go for a custom redline Matchbox vehicle ! LOL.

Great idea for a series George, this car turned out awesome! I've built a few similar "redlines" like this too. Another idea for the large rears is to use the front axle from an old sizzlers car with large capped wheels.
