I enjoyed playing the first Hot Wheels Unleashed game so it was a no brainer to play/add the sequel to the channel.
Kicked off this game using an ATV because it wasn't in the first Hot Wheels Unleashed game. Looked pretty cool on the track too. Unlocking vehicles by purchasing them directly in the game's store is a neat touch.
Chose to do the story-driven campaign mode with the Jack Hammer since it looked badass with good handling, good stats for a legendary vehicle. Raced alongside a team of original characters on an adventure to save the city from destruction. This mode is filled with challenges and I love it.
All the tracks and backgrounds of each track looked beautiful. There were times where i'd look at the background and not the track i.e like the museum with the dinos, my bad haha. The open off track at the diner where you have to rely on the blue arrow indicator/blue light/waypoint, confused me at first. Well, with all the new tracks I faced for the first time, the first lap of discovering each track was a tad nervewrecking. So, don't expect perfect laps/turns. haha
However, i'm happy with my first hour as I won every race and beat time limit challenges with seconds to spare. Ended at Level 8, obtaining perks and using my Hot Wheels Spin tokens.
