from 15:23-18:17 the most honest insight on the Dipset movement. Riveting and emotional, honest and truthful."...We had US, We had that love, we had that inner G... we had the talent, we had the style, we had the charisma, we had HARLEM!" #ClassicMoment

Finally finish listening very carefully (believe it or not part of these types of interview are discussed in college business, music, hip hop etc). Very good interview with flex (some of y'all didn't understand why flex would interrupt the convo, it's called saving the guest at times, stay on course based on producer of the show and controlling time). Flex did a good job. First time, heard jimmy actually speak that long lol, very informative and young artists should listen carefully to the knowledge jimmy gave, learn the business of music, television, loyalty. Good Job Jimmy and Flex! Wish him the best!

Stop smoking weed and doing drugs and you too, can have a memory. Easy enough, right?
@RyanJMills-lf3et
@RyanJMills-lf3et 8 жыл бұрын
John G.K. First off, smoking having a considerable effect on the memory is a myth. Propaganda that has its roots in the "reefer madness" era of the U.S. Jim Jones is a major pot head and he's displaying an acute memory in this interview which might I add disproves your point. Second, I have no idea why your comment is so condescending. I never said I was a a druggie or why you assumed that much but whatever. Third, stop with the trolling please I am simply amazed by the man's memory and his ability to recall vivid details.
@jaygio
@jaygio 8 жыл бұрын
Smoking and all drugs in general affect the memory. This is not propaganda, it's a fact and is not even up for debate. Not like you're a science major or in the medical field to know this. Then again, it's not like you can't look this up in published studies that have been done. This in no way impinges marijuana's ability to treat CTE, which you probably don't know what that is. But there are pro's and con's to everything. And I was referring to YOUR ability to retain memory, not Jim's, since you were the one having a hard time understanding that someone can remember things. Especially when you lived a certain kind of life with major things happening. When your life is boring and dull and everything is the same year after year, then it might be harder to recall as everything seems the same.

Having produced Rap City tha Bassment from 1999 to 2001 and creating Spring Bling I used to rockw/ Cam. I vibed w/ Jim, Cam & Zeke the moment we met... with all due respect to Killa, I have to say that Jim is not lying. I used to book Cam on Rapcity tha bassment when he was in between labels, I used to book him so it would "look" like he was rockin' b/c I knew that appearance was everything in that industry... Jim was always 100%, so was crazy ass Zeek (homeboy is one of the funniest, wildest dudes I ever met)... he DID make sure Cam was straight whenever they did business... I hung w/ Cam more but Jim is not lying... from my experience anyways...

I'm tired of the revisionist hate when it comes to Jim , prior to the Max B conflict and Dipset dilemmas , growing up in NYC as a kid/early teens in the 2000s I remember when the streets loved Jim Jones when he came out with Ryders Musik , City Of Gods then the Harlem : Diary Of A Summer album , and when I see niccas tryna to act like Jim played a small role in the dipset movement I can tell who was really bumping dipset in its prime and who hopped on the wave dumb late , Jim may not be a perfect individual but I'm tired of the unwarranted hate son gets , fuck that son is a legend and fuck who opposes ...
