Kendrick said harsh words? News to me. He said rap is a competition and I'm trying to be the best. I don't care if you are my friend, I want to be the best by beating the best. And then he mentioned the best in the game right now who he wants to beat. Harsh words? I think not.

Competition in Hip-Hop is so old news... You cant compete over fans because fans mostly listen to more than 1 artist...

When Meek began hollering about Drake not writing his own shit, i didn't believe it for one second, even after the Q. Miller leaks, because i know Drake has written for other people himself and probably your favorite rappers, "that's why every song sound like drake featuring Drake." Lyrically he's been nice since '06 too.. RFI & CBS shit.
@KIDisDopeee8 жыл бұрын
toronz ali You telling me every song, since '06, has been written for him? C'mon son, you'll believe anything Meek feeds you huh? And I'm not saying Miller didn't write those songs, I'm saying he's not employing full time ghostwriters. Lol The shit he had help to write isn't even his best work... Any nigga that says "dickrider" are sus btw, fuck out of here!

Warren Jay drake hasnt proven himself though dude didnt even deny it and has practically said yeah i use ghostwriter and what? most of his fans arent even hip hop fans...ive been listening to drake since comeback season so i aint being bias but if dude cant even write the most simpliest songs which were on if your readin this its to late whos to tell me he has done the good work like 5am in toronto and other songs which is to long to mention...remember if you cant do the alphabet aint no where in hell you can write a book ....drake probably been having ghostwriter for years but the truth always comes out thanks to meek mill
@youngali5058 жыл бұрын
Warren Jay if you cant even write your own verse and you need someone else to do it for you then i really have to question how much you have done by yourself
@KIDisDopeee8 жыл бұрын
toronz ali What do you mean Drake hasn't proven himself? He's written for other people though... If the argument is whether or not he can write, wouldn't having proof of him writing for other people negate the allegations of him not writing his own shit? And have you been LISTENING to Drake since Comeback Season, or HATING on him since then? Lol At the end of the day WE can not prove nor disprove this shit, and by him not disclosing or talking about it doesn't make it true either, he's just smart! Media everywhere will find ways to twist his words if he were to ever do an interview about it! And if your implying I'm not a real Hip Hop fan, you don't want to go there, trust me... I've been a product of Hip Hop since day 1. I also wouldn't trust a nigga that always seems to bite the hand that feeds him (Meek).

Drake doesn't look at it as a beef. He barely even likes to talk about but every interview he has had after that Control verse has been about him and where he stands with K.Dot. He simply said that songs like that are "in the moment." Which means he's focused on make more hits, not compete in a battle. That may be Kendrick's style, and theres nothing wrong with that. Drake knows he's not about that life when it comes to battle rapping. Just let the man continue to make hits and stop persuading him to beef with people.
@NotebookLives3 жыл бұрын
This comment didn't age well. He's clearly "about that life" - Meek, Push, and Kanye for example. He doesn't dip into that bag for the reason that he said: there HAS to be a real issue because he can't half-step it. He believes in going all in and airing someone out when there's a true problem, not "playing around" and then dapping people up as if it was just fun & games. In actuality, he might be one of the FEW that are about that life.

Angie was trying drake. He must have a soft reputation
@ProdByPalmarius4 ай бұрын
He doesn't do interviews, she was pressing him to make a mistake and say the wrong thing for a headline. She would've done the same to you too

Leave dis nigga alone, lamars verse was wack and all it did was stir hype for a couple days "Make sure your core fans neva heard of you niggas" Like what?? Sounds like he hatin on otha people success. Even tho drake seems soft, he good peoples and seems like a stand up guy. Gotta respect that

He kind of contradicted himself by saying he's ready for someone to say his name, BUT, that's exactly what Kendrick did. IJS

Drake is sooooooo sweet tho!!!!! Look how passionate he is when he's speaking about JAY Z
@nyc23bklyn10 жыл бұрын
I never really been a Drake fan but he's speaking the truth. How a nigga diss you and see you and say its all love. That shit can fuck up someone rap career. And he's not suppose to take it serious. Thats some punk shit to diss someone see them and act like its all cool.

Because it wasn't a diss... Drake keeps missing the point. Like you

Good point. I just don't like how the hip-hop scene is too friendly. Nobody tries to challenge each other like before. Since everyones in their own lanes (more or less) that kind of edges out the competitiveness of hip-hop. Kendrick did a great thing with his verse on Control, it hyped up rappers from all regions. Drake is talented but doesn't nearly push himself as much as he should because no one has truly called his skills as a emcee into question

She's annoying and you can kind of see it on his face he's like, really? Just of the moment to call people out?

Once again you can say what ever against Drake, but he's the one with the talent, and not only that such a beautiful personality , make yourself proud,do something constructive, see a counsellor to help you to deal with your internal issues.this is for the people who always have something bad to tell about others. Love you Drake!

Angie's really good at this interviewing thing. "You should battle." Then eases her way into the Kendrick Lamar verse knowing damn well he didn't want to talk about that. haha

To me Drake deserves to call himself the best Raper coz he is the best. No doubt about his talent, and we shouldn't jump in to judging him without the truth behind him leaving YMCMB. Maybe they are fucking up his future

People big up Eminem who's been wack for years then knock Jay-Z who's made hit records since the fuckin mid 90's wow just say you don't like him as a guy but don't deny musically he a fuckin legend.
