I love this presenter soo much. He's been promoting Africa soo much on his platform and helping to connect the African diaspora with the motherland. He and his friends like Boris Kodjoe started the return to Africa initiative, which has changed the face of Africa, ever since. God bless you for the good work you're doing.

@@godfredmclean You are one of those delusional Ghanaians. Stone boy is a reggae dancehall artist. Is it those wack songs he recently released that you are using to classify him as an afrodancehall artist? Go and check to see the poor numbers he has except the song ha sang with Davido which is even because of davido. He has no hit song in his entire career; if you think am lying, tell me the hit songs.

Nana: please stop typing nonsense. Nigerian highlife is different from Ghana highlife. Nigerian highlife was not influenced by Ghanaian highlife. Nigerian highlife is the music of southeastern Nigerian and it is a cultural sound of that part of Nigeria. Nigerian highlife is a folk sound of that part of Nigeria. Nigerian highlife is still a thriving genre in the southeastern part of Nigeria. The Nigerian highlife has nothing to do with Fela. Fela is the originator of Afrobeat, not Nigerian highlife. The Nigerian highlife kings, all of them late are; Rex Lawson, Celestine Ukwu, Osita Osadebe and Victor Owaifo. These Nigerian nightlife legends did not come to Ghana to learn their trade. Thank God for the internet, you can search and listen to their music on KZbin.

@@walterumeh4622 ghanaian immigrants took highlife to Nigeria and also around those years when highlife came into existence, there were a lot of Nigerians living in Ghana .
@walterumeh4622
@walterumeh4622 Жыл бұрын
@@nanakgee what year these emigrants from Ghana came to Nigeria? Do not talk about what you do not know. First you allude to Fela being taught high life by Ghanaians now is about emigrants from Ghana. Please stop exposing your ignorance. Nigerian highlife is as old as Nigeria and was not influenced by anybody from Ghana. I am an old man and I know more about the origin of Nigerian Highlife than you. The Nigerian highlife is a way of live music for people of the southeastern part of Nigeria. Never heard of Ghana Highlife growing up. The music that was popular in southeastern Nigeria is Nigeria Highlife by Rex Lawson, Celestine Ukwu, Osita Osadebe and Victor Owaifo. They are all late, these people were already high-life legends in the'50ss and '60s. In that same time frame, OK Jazz from Congo was en vogue in the southeastern part of Nigeria, not Ghana highlife. I don't know why Ghanaians always think they influence Nigerian music. Nigeria has more than 250 tribes and each tribe has its way of life and distinctive music. Research the nightlife maestros I have listed before responding again, please.

How long will it take stoneboy to realize that all this his politically correct controversials positions about afrobeats will not help his career. Stone boy is not even an Afrobeat artists; why is always moving from platform to the other to discuss afrobeats instead of reviving his declining career. That is how he was telling the Grammy CEO about Afriobeats but yet, it didn't fetch him a grammy; he then invited himself to the grammy to tell Taylor about the evolution of afrobeats, but the woman refused to pay attention.
