As a man. Who is happily married, hetrosexual, non homophobe, with narcissistic tendencies... youre right. But I think all of the characters and stories, had such good writing... way better than any other crime show, humanity, humor, and not taking itself too seriously... they are far more believable when they do turn "Ok, Ive had enough" stage. J.J. is probably the most realistic bad ass female character ever written, and acted. Yet she carries the beauty of ladyship. And of course, Reid helped us geeks out too.

Thomas Gibson did a great job with this scene. You can see his feelings and thought process written on his face, including the exact instant he came to a conclusion. Hotch doesn't raise his voice much or invade his personal space until the end, but his glare and body language still radiate an abundance of restrained anger and unflinching resolve. When he does lean in and his voice shifts, you know exactly how the perp feels, threatened, cornered, and terrified. Other people provided the lighting, cinematography, etc. to make this scene work well, but Gibson nailed his performance in a way other actors would've chewed too much or not in the right places.
