Hi I love your videos they are really helpful- thanks! We are planning a trip to Val Thorens in April with our kids, 9 & 12, husband and kids are total beginners plus it’s their first time to the slopes- want them to love it- which hotel would you recommend for us- Altapura, Kohlnor or FitzRoy?

Hi Maria, glad you like our videos 😊👍 Travelling with kids, based on those 3 hotels you mentioned, I would recommend the Altapura. Koh I Nor is at the top of the ski resort and far away from the ski school meeting points especially for beginners and young children. Fitz Roy has the best location in the centre but the decor and style of the rooms are not great (I don’t personally like them). Altapura is towards the bottom and not far from the ski school meeting point. The Altapura has an amazing buffet restaurant (amongst others) which are great for kids and adults. Which country are you travelling from ?
