Perfect..... It reminds me of the Good Time Van my Dad had back in the 70's..... My parents used to take us to the drive-in movies in it..... My Dad would back it in and open the rear doors, turn the radio to the local station that would play the movie and us kids would lay on the bed watch the movie..... Kids today don't truly know what a good time is nor do they know how to truly have fun..... I MISS THOSE DAYS.....

I had 3 Chevy Vans in my Lifetime. A '69, a '76 and a '79. All Shortys. I wish I still had 'em. All 3, I customized myself. I was VP of Wheels of Confusion Vans in HB for a couple years. I guess I was Van Crazy for my entire youth. I even lived in them at one time or another over a few years. They had everything I needed. Beds, fridges, stoves and all my tools. And I could put all my belongings, like clothes and stuff in them too.. Home was where I parked. Being homeless was never so good!!! Good times. Lol.

Loved those old Chevy and GMC vans. I had a 1975 Chevy Beauville and went to hell and back in that thing during my time in the US Navy in the early to mid 80's and then into my first post military job. Not nearly as cool as a shorty van but could pack in a lot of folks and head out for partying! That van never let me down mechanically.

My Dad had a 1976 chevy van exactly like this from when I was a baby and born in 1985, but his van was grey, and it also had the same exact rim wheels like from this van. And I still to this day remember the times when my Dad used to drive and come pick me up and I rode in it, and he would also have me spend time with him. But then it got to a point where the transmission got messed up and the van ended up in the shop, and my Dad then had was to sell the van. And it's assumed that he couldn't afford a new transmission for the van and to keep it. But it's still good for me to remember my Dad having a 1976 chevy van exactly like this from when I was a baby in the 80's, and the times when he used to drive and come pick me up and I spend time with him.

Reminds me of my first visit to the US back in 1976. Vans like this one could be seen all over the place. And I went virtually all over the place, riding Greyhound Philadelphia-Miami-New Orleans-St. Louis-Denver-SF-Seattle-Vancouver-Calgary-Billings-Albuquerque, ending up in LA to catch my flight on an SAS Lockheed Tristar back home. To be exact, I drove a rental car one way from NYC to Philadelphia.

I absolutely love this van. WELL DONE. The stance and wheels are perfect. My dream is to resto-mod a shorty 70's Chevy like this one. Slap an LS motor in it with headers, dual exhaust and an oversized radiator. Rewire the entire thing for both DC and AC, equip it w HVAC A/C and heat in the rear, install a fridge and micro wave and finish it off with a cool interior and trick paint.

Fog lights.... Back in '82, I mounted up a set of fogs and a set of driving lights on a makeshift light bar across the top of my '72 Chevy pickup. Quartz halogens, from k-mart, total spent on the lights -- $9. Got pulled over once because they were too bright.
