As a hotel management student common issues - 1. Proper information was not available. 2. Everyone think we can cook well. 3. Time waste , there is no difference between degree and diploma in hm. 4. Foreign jayenge foreign jayenge but kinta papad belna padta hai. 5 . Believe me industrial training is the best time and if you go with your friends in industrial training than you will get best memories in your life but if you go alone its high chance you will quite hotel industry completely after college. Suggestion for newbies - better to look for other industry until or unless Your family run hotel or restaurant, or you wants to be a chef ,

Which college you join plays a key roll in hotel induatry.....All hotel management aspirants should know which college you should join. Join IHM(nchmct)as these provide bechmark and quality education.prvt college dont conduct practicals, theory classes are not conducted properly... ultimately resulting in poor knowledge, lack of technical skills, low level of motivation confidence and communication.....

Diploma and digree is good it gives you advantage like better connection through college etc. but all u need is skill I completed my 12th in 2017 and I directly join hotel industry and I started as a room attendant and now I'm front Desk manager and got offered form Marriott international as a front office manager after I cleared interview and also got offered for property manager from gostop. Just need skill.

In the name of content creation how easily you misguided people. Even in Dehradun salary structure is high than what you have mentioned. And by saying it takes 10-15 years to become manager you have crushed many hopes. Guys you can become a manager within 4-5 years even though if you start from entry level. If you are talented enough, from college itself you can be hired as a Management trainee, in this case you become manager within 2 years.

yes I agree with you literally she's giving wrong informations and the starting salary in hm is 25k - 30k per month it depends on your skills and knowledge. Also as she mentioned ki padhai nhi hoti thi sirf 6 months college gyi thi toh experience kya khak rhega? she's literally speaking nonsense in the name of kuch bhi bakwas content and literally demotivating the childrens who wants to pursue hotel management. I'm reporting her bruh!

For degree you have to give entrance exam (NCHMJEE) and for diploma you have to fill registration form in IHM, and IHM select on the basis of your 12th marks for diploma
