@@dankadesign7462 In short. This country was never worked out for my family name. My father was killed by a Croatian in 1978 in front of a restaurant over a song! He used a rifle and got 2 and half years. Years later, a bone tumour destroyed my plans, martial arts, security job. Had a major hip replacement 28 yrs ago. Every thing I didn't get to have here ,was always over there waiting. My whole father's family are overseas.300+ Only 7-8 members on mum's side here . To be the only man in Australia with my Surname out of 27 million people gets very lonely! Life is groundhog day here. You don't even know your closest neighbours. Always felt,I was born and lived in the wrong country. That's the very short version to explain some things I lived in Serbia as a young child for 3 years. Went to your school,I learned Serbian as I only knew english. Been here 35 yrs,no kids,no wife etc. I think it was meant to be, so I can come back. 2020 opened my eyes in so many ways. I'm aware that some things I need to adjust to. In the end,I have a lot more to live for over there.

Incident at Čukur fountain was equivalent to Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat to a white man. At the fountain there were a few Turkish soldiers, in uniforms, and a few Serbs with flasks to pour water. Turks believed that because they were Muslims, they had a priority over Christians. In that argument, a Serbian apprentice accidentally broke a flask of a nizam (soldier), which made him angry and hit the boy in the head and killed him. The boy's name was Sava Petković. Very few people know that Islam forbids taking other Muslims into slavery. During Ottoman rule Muslims took Serbs into slavery and sold them all over Middle East. That is why first Serbian Constitution of 1835 has article 118) "When a slave enters Serbian land, from that moment he becomes free, either whoever brought him to Serbia, or he escaped there. A Serb is free to buy slaves, but not to sell them." Serbia abolished slavery 13 years before France did in 1848.

Stefan Uroš IV Dušan Nemanjić, the first crowned emperor of the Serbian state, (autokrator, Greek: Αυτοκράτορας), when he was crowned on Easter, April 16, 1346, by the first Serbian patriarch, Joanikije II. All Serbian medieval rulers have as part of the name "Stefan" which is actually a title that comes from the Greek "stefanos" which means crowned.

@@FastEddieDice You do not need to be rude. You are simply not right. Yes, there are differences between countries, but not such thing as "Russian or Petrograd style in secession"... And yes, there is Wien Secession, Jugendstil in Germany, Art Noveau (Belgium and France), Liberty in Anglo-Saxon countries or in Italy Floral style... I'm sorry that I made you so angry, but your statement is not accurate. The architect of the Hotel Moskva was Jovan Ilkić, prominent Serbian scholar educated in the school of famous Theophil von Hansen in Wien. And the hotel Moskva is the first prominent architectural building that brought Wien Secession to Belgrade. I will not say that the "lesson is finished !" because the history and architecture of Belgrade is much more ... but I'm finishing this conversation, wishing you all the best in researching places you intend to visit.

@@sandrajovanovic5503 i wasn't trying to be rude; i was laughing lightheartedly when i wrote "lesson finished," imagining that i'd get a more detailed response as a result :) for whatever reason, the hotel staff and website itself refers to russian secession, and, regardless of correctness, i've heard the term st petersburg secession many many times during 6 visits to russia. ilkić worked on the design in st petersburg, a design that had to be signed off on by russia's chief architect
