I played the first demo and thought it showed a lot of promise. I've paid for the full release and will play when it's ready. I like that the walls give you more chance to be creative than say House Flipper. (HF2 looks pretty exciting too.)

When I did Vlads room I didn’t put any lights or mirrors in at all then after he checked at I went back in and put them, and a TV in then as well as changing the curtains. I love the game but all that ripping out the floors, ceilings etc getting tedious after a while. Does it speed up later in the game?

yes! I promise it does. You will get a big ol' mallet hammer that takes out one wall at a time in a single swing. Towards the end of the campaign you get dynamite that clears a room out with one toss.

yeah finally ha, it was either the video after this, or the third one where peeps told me how to do it. It was a struggle for a bit :D, luckily that q/e carried over to another game that had the same mechanic too!

After the first job, you can click q or e to change modes from single to spray paint (for wall paint) or full wall/floor

If you point in the middle of the wall (top to bottom) when you demo, it takes the whole thing 1 hit.

Love your designs! But I noticed on vlads room you were high at 2.2 star rating then down to 2.1 then at the 1.02 time mark it dropped to 1.2 but there was no reason for it, any ideas why it dropped when you were doing so well?

Furniture choices I think, I made an early mistake of mixing 1 star furniture with 2 star, because I was basing it on what I liked. It gets better once I unlock more furniture choices.

:D welcome! Tiny confession, this would have been the 5th time I thrown that poor chicken out of the window. I played the two next fests and the two gameplay tests. The first time I was like "ohh no is she going to be okay?", by the 5th, I just wanted her out the window.

I was looking forward to trying this game so I went looking for YT let's plays to see if it was worth it... but the whole decorating a room to cater to a specific guest really kind of turns me off. I guess they needed some kind of... "gamey" aspect to the game but... nah... it doesn't sell me unfortunately... kinda disappointed >

I agree. On ep 4 I'm going to complain a lot about this game mechanic, because it's a constant, add speakers and rock decal stickers for the rocker, or camping equipment for the fisherman. And the stupid chicken....
