Thanks for the details, I went ahead and canceled my reservation for 2 double queen beds with city view, that bathroom you showed or that nasty teddy bear or whatever it is, is hideous. Perhaps their suite would suffice.

Not Stone Mountain.. the one to the northwest (left) is Kennesaw Mountain. To the North, a the big mountain there is Sawnee Mountain. From your vantage point, you cannot see Stone Mountain.

Besides traveling for fun, I have to travel back and forth to another city for work and the hotel staff seems to get worse and worse. I brand new hotel 3 years ago is nasty now. No one cares anymore it seems. Sorry you had a bad experience.

The main draw for that hotel is the Sun Dial restaurant. Too bad you didn't get to check it out along with the glass express elevator. They offer great views of the city, especially at night. I think you can get up to the lounge below the restaurant without a reservation, maybe at least during the day.

They were having that event there, so everything was closed. I was pretty upset about that. The elevator was pretty neat. I enjoyed, even though I HATE heights. Next time for sure! If you like crazy elevators, check out my Dubai series. The Frame was cool, but I believe the Burj Khalifa still holds the record for the fastest elevator, also the tallest. It is pretty cool. Facility wise... it was really nice. Two of my favorite hotels were the ones in Puerto Rico. 1 was a bed and a fan bolted to a wall, the other was like if I was El Chapo or something - not a lot of footage on that one.... the sound got messed up.
