Seems like a nice place to stay, especially with all the amenities. Having multiple rooms can definitely help, especially with multiple people. Interesting how the lobby floor is simply labeled "M" and the numbered floors are above it (and 1 starts above M). I recently stayed at a hotel that had the main floor labeled as G, and the numbered floors were above it (and 1 was above it). I still have to upload that at some point.

It was definitely a nice hotel with lots of great features. The M level had a fancy name that I dom't remember and it housed the pool and conference rooms. The hotel lobby and main entrance was actually on level one. Strange setup for sure.

Nice tour! I like the egg lanterns on the elevator. If you never been to Carlsbad Caverns they got some neat elevators which are fast!

Thank you, I am glad you liked it. I have been to the Carlsbad Caverns, they're very neat. I remember the elevators and I thought they were really fast back when I rode them in 2008. When I think about it now though, 800 fpm for 750 feet is a little slow. They should increase them to like 1200 fpm.

+Elevating Denver The person who did our elevator maintenance said his company did some work out there. Time for our Dover to get some routine maintenance. Never had any problems with it. I even know how to get someone out if they get stuck.

+The Elevator Daily Dovers are always great. It's neat that the maintenance company you use has worked with the Caverns.

+Elevating Denver It is. They also have a contract with a resort near us. I might get a tour of the machine room.

Nice Hotel especially with two elevators. But I think M level is for the pool. And it has got to be the Main Level
@ElevatingDenver8 жыл бұрын
This is definitely a nice hotel. M has the pool on it, yes. As far as it being the main, level, I would've said that as well. But, I remember the staff saying it had a different, sort of weird name though.

Did you go here when you were heading to Vegas? Also, what hotel brands do you usually stay at?
@ElevatingDenver8 жыл бұрын
+Floridian Elevators This was the first stop on my way to Vegas. I usually stay at cheap and crappy hotels. Whenever my family looks into staying at hotels somewhere, we always stay at whatever is cheapest and can hold 5 people in one room. So first we usually check the Super 8 and then the Quality Inn and whatever comes after that. We got to staying at this nice hotel entirely by accident. My mom thought it was cheap at first, but when we arrived she discovered just how expensive it is. We were gonna go across the street and stay at the Best Western instead, but my brothers and I convinced my parents to stay here. This is by far the nicest hotel my family has ever stayed at as a family*. *Besides the Tuscany in Las Vegas, which my parents get free nights at because they spend enough money on food and gambling. So that's where I stay in Las Vegas. Otherwise, we would be staying at their Super 8 or Best Western.

Elevating Denver I actually stay at a fair amount of TownePlace Suites, Hampton Inns, Fairfield Inns, Courtyards, Hilton Garden Inns, Springhill Suites, Residence Inn, Homewood Suites, Home2Suites, and Baymont Inn and sometimes if there is nothing else, Days Inn or Howard Johnson. However, we do stay in some very nice high rise Marriott, Hilton, Starwood and Loews owned hotels. We also stay at lots of Wyndham owned resorts.

Floridian Elevators LOL, my parents try to avoid those at all costs. The first thing they often ask when they call a hotel for a room check: "Hi, do you have any rooms for 5 available for less than $80 per night?" Typically, even hotels like Quality Inns will say their minimum price is like $120. The two Quality Inns I stayed at on this trip were both above that even. One of them had exterior corridors and no elevator. The other was just an older cheap hotel with a restaurant attached. As for high-rises, I got to stay at the Ameristar Blackhawk once because I found a rate for $99 per night. That's the only high-rise I've ever stayed at and likely the only one I ever will stay at. Now my dad gets free rooms while he's at work, so he stays at all kinds of nice hotels. That's only when he works however, otherwise he gets to pay normal rates and his work doesn't pay for him to stay at every hotel, there are some that he has to pay for. But even when he pays for his room, he typically stays at Hiltons or Wyndhams or other nice ones.

Elevating Denver Did the other Quality Inn have an elevator?
@ElevatingDenver8 жыл бұрын
Floridian Elevators Yes they did. A Dover modernized with Series 7 (red and vandal resistant).

$170 ain't bad for a two bedroom at a TownePlace.

Wasn't it weird? You didn't expect two elevators you expected 1

I expected that if it had two elevators, they'd be together. The layout is certaintly different.

Lol. You're totally right, I always have that problem. Whether it's on elevators or hotel tours, I am never done when they want me to be.
