Great system, I am installing one and testing it right now, should the output trunk lines, terr TV and legacy out on the multi switch be terminated with a 75Ohm load? Should also the outputs (thru1 and thru2) on the transmodulator be terminated? Finally what's the recommended temperature for the demodulator, I am seeing 48C on an ambient temp 24C.

Terminating the output trunk lines and legacy output in the multiswitch is not necessary, but recommended (using the DC block terminator). You don't have to terminate the outputs (thru1 and thru2) on the transmodulator. The operarating temperature for transmodulator is 0...45 [ºC]

Transmodlator converts satellite signal (DVB-S/S2) to digital DVB-T. It works if the receivers support DVB-T standard.

No it can't works cause standard in north america is "ATSC" not DVB

Mr Jean, sorry for that! The multiswitch consumes about 6 W, and the transmodulator consumes about 13 W. The UP 413 power supply outputs 12 V / 4.5 A. Regards DIPOL Team

@@jeandelaru797 Maximum bitrate for QAM is about 50 Mbps. Maximum channel number depends on their bitrates. You can fit about 10 to 15 channels on 1 MUX.
