To prevent the vinyl from burning, I use parchment paper over the rhinestones to cover the area of the vinyl... Thank you for the demo of the glass 🙏🏻

If the applicator is completely warm it can pick up the rhinestones. I have one myself and that saves me some time when applying my crystals.

Please can I use any fabric?
@craftbasicsjs6 ай бұрын
Not all fabrics are suitable for heat. You can only apply heat to some fabric so be sure before starting

I’m new user. For hot fix stones in order for them to stay can you only use the hot fix tool , or can you use the gem tac or Arleen’s jewel it ?
@craftbasicsjs Жыл бұрын
Hi, if you are using the hotfix stones on fabric it is best to use the hot fox tool because it holds better. For those materials that cannot take the heat you can use the gem tac to put it on. But it doesn't affect the Rhinestones whether you use the hot fix tool or not.

That's an option but ensure it seems fitting because it will be too hot to remove once you have started.

Hello there! Thank you for your video. I have a question.... have you used the hotfix tool to apply stones on metal objects such as when crafting with tins...
@craftbasicsjs Жыл бұрын
Hi Ida, thanks for your support. I have not done a test on metal but based on the notes from the instruction manual it indicates that it is not to be used on metal, leather, vinyl, plastic, wood, rubber, rock, or any Heat sensitive materials. It would probably be best to use glue in these instances instead of the hotfix applicator.

@@craftbasicsjs if you use glue on the metal or other material with the hot fix rhinestone will the rhinestone hold up or will they tend to fall off bc it’s a hot fix rhinestone ? Hope I’m explaining correctly sorry if not

is it possible to attach crystals to metal with this applicator?

Thanks so much just what I needed and I was looking for. Just a question. What do you use to clean the glasses (any kind) before putting the crystals?? And thanks for having the subtitles activated 😍 I appreciate so much. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
@craftbasicsjs2 жыл бұрын
You are most welcome... I use Rubbing Alcohol and a paper napkin/towel to do the cleaning. It removes any residue from the area. You may also use a clean piece of cloth that is not fuzzy so it doesn't leave stuff on your work area.

Can it be used on net fabric
@craftbasicsjs2 жыл бұрын
Hi, if it's not a hard plastic then no. You will have to apply it with a glue instead of the applicator because it's very hot.
