I want to thank you for your channel. It is refreshing to watch someone with their unique crafts. All of yours are not just purchasing something at a store, bringing it home, repainting it with your favorite colors and ending with the same thing. You are using your talent, using everyday, different items, cardboard, etc. You create something that doesn't look like what you started with. Thank you for keeping it real. The way you take cardboard and create a wood look is amazing. THANK YOU. I am not in a position in my life to do much crafting. There was a time in my life when I recycled everyday items for Christmas decorations and card board to make storage. I even used boxes to make my daughter a kitchen set. It was so much fun. Holly this tray turned out absolutly fabulous! I have been wanting one for years...a real wood one. I have made the plate one in 2 and 3 tier but Nothing beats wood. I just love wood ! In fact we bought our 5th home because all the trim in the house was stained and NOT painted. So all my furniture has some wood somewhere in or on it. I also love to accent with iron. There are times when i want to paint some furniture but my husband is like "no you dont". I want to but he reminds me how much i love wood. I was hunting for something to use as a tv stand and my daughter and i were on a thrifting hunt and ran across a beautiful antique dresser. Immediately fell in love with it. It would be my birthday in a few days so she went up and paid for it. She had the sales rep put a sold sign on it because we didnt have the room in the truck at that moment. So on my way to check out i saw the sold sign and was like darn someone bought it. She said I know I did.... Happy birthday Mom! I smiled for days. We went home emptied all our goodies and went right back and got it. My husband loved it too. I waz gonna sand and restain and well he said NO. So i cleaned it up really well and am so glad I didnt sand it. The wood is absolutly beautiful. Its in my living room looking so beautiful. Ill never forget that birthday. TFS.
