Just got done watching Beyond Deathwish, and I REALLY liked that campaign. Despite it being an alternate history, 95% of it feels like Dennaton would say, "Yeah, this alternate timeline is canon." I'm new to the Hotline Miami series, and it feels like you're the only other person who doesn't despise The Fans for killing The Henchman. It's a series where nearly EVERYONE is a horrible person, but The Fans are hated because this ONE henchman was given a backstory. Oh, I really like how you showed Jacket's transformation into Richard, or whatever you wanted that scene to convey. Feels VERY much like something Dennaton would have done if they had the complete story of Hotline Miami in their heads while making the first game. By the way, Beyond Deathwish is a much better title than what I'm about to tell you, but you got me thinking. I know the title is meant to convey the alternate history beyond the canon mission called Death Wish. But the title got me thinking along the lines of, "You don't just have a death wish, this is straight up..." SUICIDE IDEATION ^ How fucking cool would it be to see that pop up in a Hotline Miami title card, blood splatter and all?

I do like the Fans, but I think what they did to the Henchman was horrible, though you can convey that however you want. The fact that I like them doesnt mean I morally align with them, or that it would influence the story. For the record, the Son is my favorite character from HLM2, and yet I had him killed in the first cutscene of the campaign Glad you enjoyed it

@@Naju34 LOL I don't morally agree with ANY Hotline Miami character, except for Beard, but I LIKE almost all of these terrible bastards! 😂 Like, I think Hotline Miami 2 proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that The Son is objectively BETTER than The Fans, but personally, I like them a lot more than him.
