I've never met a woman aside from my first love that I'd want to give the time to consider these steps... and at 32 (hbd to me) it hurts to think that I'm choosing between a fake life and being happy alone... As for kids... maybe I'll regret that soon but I don't know how I feel about kids getting my brain..

I swear, Hot Mulligan never fails to perfectly encapsulate the daily pains that I feel. From struggling with life and bills, to recently having my ex-wife pass away, to comforting my teenage daughter, drinking too much, and to the conflicting emotions I have from it all... This band makes me feel a little bit seen. Like, at the very least, someone out there knows even a shred of what I'm going through and can put things into word. That honestly means a lot to me.
