Yeah, I was only halfway through the campaign on brutal when I posted this, trying to get all the mastery achievements on the run, but I got stuck. At the time I hadn't realized the mastery archives allowed you to play with the maximum possible upgrades and levels for each mission. That sure makes things easier. :D

good guide ! you can actually use nests 1 - 4 if you get wild mutation ( or whatever its called) and lings to kill everything.

Creep Upgrade. Spread creep as far as u can without touching the area of the nest activation with a tumor while you clear the way with Kerrigan. Then With queens in every Nest, activate every nest simultaneously as Gorgons come out

You can if you get the upgrade that spreads creep really fast. Forgot the name but its right next to the twin drone one.

I beat this with the first 4 nests and I actually built hatcheries next to each nest, then cancelled and built tumors on the creep that remains for a second when you cancel a hatchery, its' a trick you can do in multiplayer too, TLO is famous for doing it and it helped me get that achievement haha, because otherwise you can't spread creep fast enough to the 4 nest.

I was having trouble setting up the tumors next to 4 launchers before the gorgon got to my base. Then I realized that as long as you have a structure up you don't lose! So the next time the gorgon got to my base I built a hatchery up near the point I had advanced to and it bought me more than enough time to get things set up.

I did this with 4 zerglings, only attacking when I had wild mutation up. I had some queens behind me for creep spread. The rest of my resources were for some slight defense (lost my base just before the first gorgon arrived, but it didn't matter because my creep and reserve tumors were already in place)

Great tutorial Psy, however I agree with others. Putting hatcheries on the first 4 is easier if you are slow like me :).

I beat this with the first 4 nests while using creep spread, not so hard. I don't really see why PsY needs additional time. Just wait for that first Gorgon to come really close and then activate all 4 nests. I used swarmlings only and only got a couple extra drones at the start. Then massing lings and Queens.

hahahahaha and i was wondering how you can destroy 4 G in 120 sec, my best time was 3.06min and i could hardly make it better. Gonna have to start working more on my english:)//////// within 120s, not first 120s of the game

You can definitely spread creep fast enough.

Roachs are better for this map since karrigan can insta kill most air and there are few of them, and since the few he uses are vikings.

Use Master Archives, you can get the twin drones.

Master archives only makes me level 34, not 35 like you for some reason - but it says i got all the levels possible up to that level.

This does not make any sense. I won the game on hard under 10:40 mins with all scourge nests activated and within 100 seconds but I still didnt get the achiv! Why? I was alos connected to battle.net as well. Grrrrr!

but i really don't understand how ALL OF YOU guys seem to find this easy. i already restarted the mission 40 times maybe ??? still no signs of the achievement. i'm uninstalling the game for the wellbeing of my health and the integrity of my wrists and objects around me. fuck it
