I actually played when giant zombies were a thing, and I can confirm that I definitely remember finding one in a world I played in with my dad At 7:00 when I used to play I’d leave the game (this was on pocket edition) and I’d get 99+ or 999 of every single item I had in my inventory. Needless to say I used that a lot

They were briefly given the AI and NBT Tags of Zombies (even having baby variants) in snapshot 18w50a, before that change was reverted just 3 snapshots later. Also, fun fact: their spawning code still exists in the game, but there are no biomes where they're allowed to spawn, and even if there were, they need a light level that is simultaneously less than 8 AND more than 11, making it impossible for them to spawn even from a Monster Spawner (unless you use a custom Monster Spawner that spawns a different mob _riding_ a Giant, in which case, the Giant will also inherit its rider's movement AI).

About the Nether Reactor: It was an alternative of the Nether for Pocket Edition of the game which could be crafted using a shit ton of gold and cobblestone and would generate a massive spire of nether materials and mobs for a limited amount of time. That was the only way to obtain things like glowstone, quartz and netherrack for MCPE players back in the day.

Everything Sipover says in the video is real. I know. It's insane. All those weird characters like Rana (the woman that Sipover refers to) or Beast Boy were the result of Notch hiring someone who refused to go with Notch's preferred art style for the game, so that's why they were so short lived in the game. Notch fired them soon after hiring them. And yeah, giants are real. They still technically exist as well, if you watch one of Mumbo's newer videos you'll see one.

Fun fact, the old Minecraft lore that was essentially herobrines story it was how notch was his brother, notch was successful and herobrine wasn’t. I’m fairly certain he ran away and got struck by lightening or mined into lava (I haven’t watched it in years, but it’s really interesting)
