Kansas was obviously fighting harder and competing better last season. It's great to see that carry over and result in more W's.

If KU throws down some cheddar, they might keep this coach one or two more years.

The way he’s doing all these interviews in the middle of the season tells me he’s leaving.
@thund3r942 жыл бұрын
@@cjboyer4355 how does doing an interview say he is leaving? To me what he is saying is that he loves Lawrence and wants to build consistency here that’s what I have heard from him pretty much every interview
@cjboyer43552 жыл бұрын
@@thund3r94 clearly I’m speculating but it’s not like you’re gonna hear him say he’d rather be in Lincoln. I’m just saying he’s done a lot of interviews the past couple weeks right after the Nebraska job opened up. That’s a little odd, coaches usually don’t do a media tour 3 games into a season…it’s almost like he’s trying to get his name seen. He was a assistant at Nebraska, his wife is from Omaha, they can pay almost double what KU can. The boosters at Nebraska flood the program with money, the Big 10 is a more prestigious conference these days even more so now that OU and Texas are leaving. Idk all the signs point to he’s leaving if Nebraska offers, I hope I’m wrong but I couldn’t blame him for taking a dream job.

He literally just signed a 7 year contract extension 2 weeks ago 🤦🏻♂️
@cjboyer43552 жыл бұрын
@@JT-bm8tq and? I didn’t say he doesn’t want to be at Kansas I’m saying there are a few jobs I’m sure he would consider taking and Nebraska is one of them or possibly Wisconsin. Remember he’s not from Kansas he has no loyalty to this school or state this is just a job. He might stay no matter what but that’s only if Kansas actually start supporting the football program like Kentucky did other wise why would he turn down a more prestigious job, with better pay, that also fits his family? When Nebraska fired Frost it cost them 13 million to terminate his contract if they would’ve waited one more week it would’ve cost them 7 million they didn’t care so I don’t think they will mind buying out Leipolds contract at Kansas if they want him.
