Houdini In Five Minutes 06: Art Directing Your Scattered Spheres

How about we start art directing our scattered spheres and rebuild our setup so we can paint where we want our objects to got? Look no further!
NOTE: As I might have mentioned, Mantra is by no means a fast render engine, so I decided to render out the preview images in this video using Octane. Question, how do you avoid self intersection of geometry right after scattering? I can't seem to find the answer

5:00 using relax node to make two points separated base on their pscale. - is this possible with the actual fbx geometry?

You can use paint node, checked the override color, and enter density

If someone cant finds "attribute paint" node you are probably using an older version of Houdini, attribute paint was introduced in Houdini 18, this video might help kzbin.info/www/bejne/anaUe2igedtoqdU

To see the stroke, in attribpaint I enabled "show brush path", and set FG Float to 1
