I think the thing about Draymond is that on his podcast he is really humble and does not make any excuses for his performances. He raises his teammates and the coaches decisions and at the same time says he has to do better. Then he goes and breaks down the game in a way that is not in any ill will towards Boston. I love it personally and I am glad he is sticking with it. So, when media says he is putting pressure on himself I just do not agree, because his podcast is not really about him. He just talks about the game.

Draymond may not be the best example to make the point I'm about to make as I think Ben Simmons, whom Dan spent countless hours talking about on the show during the season is probably a better person to illustrate that point. Ben Simmons and Giannis, if Dan had the option to interview one I'm guessing he would choose Simmons. Does that say more about Simmons, does it say more about Giannis or does say it say more about Dan? Which to bring it back to the Draymond topic, if you want to say that the criticism you're getting for how frequently you're talking about him is just a function of a fickle audience, that's fine. But if you think the criticism is being made in good faith, its probably because the topic isn't as interesting as Dan thinks it is. Which, its the Dan Le Batard show and if he wants to talk about nothing but Draymond that's his prerogative. But Dan thinking his story is really interesting shouldn't be conflated with his story being objectively as interesting as Dan thinks it is.

Dan can double and triple down on dray if he wants. Dan, just say that you’re trying to create content. Because that’s what you do to try to move the needle for Meadowlark. Dray gives you content. Steph and Klay do not. But as a journalist, and a radio/tv guy, and a personality, and most importantly, as a man who is singularly responsible for a multimillion dollar company which will rise or fall on HIS back, this is what you have to do. Plus I’m sure Dan would love to have Dray either BE part of Meadowlark, enter into a partnership WITH Meadowlark, or at least be a regular/semi regular contributor to the show
