Kindly consider the following tips while working with hollow terracotta roofing blocks while preparing the channels place them on leveller surface below compacted sand or cement finished floors so that even bottom is got below channel beams. The channels should be wet while pouring concrete, the water content should be slightly high as terra cotta absorbs more water. Maintain proper cover, no need to heap up the concrete in channels, also while pouring concrete on slabs make sure we place concrete on wet blocks.

It looks double work. Instead of putting cement slab and bricks and again iron and cement directly you can make iron and cement roofing right?

It's cost effective..the concrete and steel under tensile zone avoided also the plastering under the slab not required..the thermal insulation is bonus..go for this technique blindly

Multi storey, so no issues with any number of floors. RCC columns and beams takes all load of the building. Only live loads and furniture loads are only born by these terracotta tiles. 😊👍. Nice eco-friendly/ green building materials for roofing 👌

Not able to understand logic for putting two slabs. just to ensure insulation at bottom? otherwise you guys just increasing dead load and increasing cost of slab
