This was my favorite vid of all I have seen because not only did you review all three, you didn’t dismiss the existing powders in the Butterfly palette. Some people are new to HG and even though I do have these in previous palettes it was such a helpful demonstration in how/where to use them. Thank you Patty 💕 You have the most thorough reviews 🌸 My thoughts: I don’t have any blushes similar to the shades in the light palette so I would go for that one - if only it had one less powder and a bronzer. I can appreciate that it has existing powders that I love. But girls with light skin need a bronzer and I’ll be damned if I spend that much for six pans with no bronzer. Especially if I’m traveling, which is when I use my HG palettes the most. Sometimes I’d really like to know what HG is thinking?? There should always be: two blushes of opposite tones, one bronzer, one highlight, one finishing powder minimum! ANY skin tone needs those. Just my two cents.

I have fair skin and still got the Tiger palette since the shades are so different than the others. I'm hoping I can make most of them work but if not, I'll be glad to have it just so that Hourglass knows that we need to more palettes catered toward deeper skin tones. Thanks for the review, Patty!

U can always mix a finishing powder w/ the Tiger bronzer to customize/lighten the tone for your skin (or even Incandescent or Luminous Light if u want more glow since neither is excessively shimmery). The 2020 Ghost Unlocked had a shade called Filtered Light that was too dark to set w/ for me but too light to bronze but if became a GREAT shade to mix w/ bronzers or blushes to tone them down with!

A lot of ppl don’t realize this when you aren’t in the retail or fashion biz but makeup brands lose money making dark shades bc they don’t sell!!! That’s one reason so many brands that are very inclusive go broke! Ppl complain about high end brands not being inclusive yet when they are they don’t sell 🤷‍♀️they don’t do it to leave anyone out they do it bc they have to make what ppl buy… lucky for a lot of brands doing face pallets darker powders will sale bc ppl use them for bronzers

Tbh, the blushers in the Butterfly and the Elephant look too similar to each other. Having defined blushers, that don't look like the accompanying blusher would've been much better. As I have quite a few of the HG palettes and several of their singles, I'm skipping these. Also, I really don't like the strobe powders, my texture doesn't need more attention 😂😂 Love you lots 💗💜💗💜💗

I totally agree. I wanted to get it especially for the shade ethereal but there's no bronzer! So I got the elephant 🐘 although I already had the dim light shade
